Fun fact the current location of the Alamo is Alamo plaza in downtown San Antonio isn’t the original location. I the original location is about a block or so way

We have this set up here in San Antonio Texas for a few years supposedly but i just stumbled upon it yesterday while walking around downtown with my girlfriend and wow this thing is massive and the attention to detail is so incredible, i will definitely be going back to view it again!

Funny how history forgets that it was not just white anglo southerners vs Mexicans. Many Hispanic "Tejanos" fought bravely and all died side by side with the white Texans. This war was about fighting Santa Ana dictatorship not because of race or color.

Santa Ana wanted to end slavery in Mexico, including the Texas area, the Texians wanted to keep it.

Personally, I feel the superlative dioramas with millions of bricks and thousands of characters are just too overwhelming.
It was even more overwhelming for the defenders of the Alamo.

I guess it conveys just how overwhelmed the defenders must have been. Couldn't imagine standing up to this kind of force with so few men.
