It's a great piece of history, everyone should know this battle!
As an Estonian im also happy that a LEGO film was finally made about our history and our town.
And like a Russian who has a military family. And in the Northern War, my ancestors probably fought too. Because the nobles, peasants, and other Russian estates participated in the war there.

9:24 This Bomb throw is very good animated! Amazing! 🤩

This film was everything I hoped it would be. Well written, well filmed, and VERY well animated. Again, you've outdone yourself with your attention to the little details that make a stop-motion like this truly great. One quick comment about making the Battle of Narva. Unlike stop-motions of modern war (including World War II), a battle like this older one depends a lot more on precise animation and imagination and a lot less on CGI. As far as I'm concerned, you nailed it! Hope you do more older battles. By the way, nice snowstorm.
Thank you for this feedback! Really appriciate it!
@@LCMhistorybest stop motion CZcamsr out there
@@lesliehouck7404 I agree with you. Jordan Durenberger and LCMhistory make the best stopmotions.
Request- PLS do the battle of Saratoga
@@Victor_Sullivan12 JD is for sure number one!
This is probably one of your best, if not your best animations.
Think the same )
Excellent video!! The irony for Charles XII was that he won almost every battle against Peter (at least in his mind) until the final battle which destroyed the Swedish Army. The Battle of Poltava. There, Peter rose ascendant over Charles and wiping out the backbone of Sweden's military might.
The same was with Napoleon. He won almost everything in Russia but lost the entire war
didn't charles have to leave that battle very early due to a wound infection meaning he couldn't command or organize his men and had to trust it with, an admittedly talented, rehnkold
@dreamypizza8458 from what I recall reading on the Battle of Narva, it was Peter who was not present during the fighting and Charles led from the front (as he did in almost all his battles). I could be wrong. But that's what I recall reading about the battle.
@@tomawen5916 Yes, Charles was there. I missed one part in my animation... planned it but forgot to make. A horse under the Charles was killed in this battle. So he was pretty close. And Peter, as Ive mentioned in thew animation, he left the camp before Chrles arrived.
@LCMhistory thank you kind sir! Glad to know my recollection was correct!
Yes, Battle of Narva!
Loved the camera slide at 1:50 ! Your history films are always so cool to watch
Yeah pretty cool !!
Thanks man! Once again its very important to see support from your сolleagues animators couse you know the process and realise the scale of work done in this one ) Thank you!

Very smooth animation my friend. I'm Swedish 🇸🇪 my self and have never heard of this battle before, thanks for giving us more history animations!!👍

Eh what!? Come on…
Eeeh? Hur kan man missa det?
You are the best at lego battles animation
well... Im trying. But not the best )
In my opinion you are the best 🫡
That fight scene was absolutely SPECTACULAR, this is an amazing video and the titanic door reference was cool. Well done man, keep it up
That was very good! I hope you will continue the Great Northern War.
At least one more for sure - Poltava.
Can’t wait to look back in 7 years and get a burst of nostalgia
Absolute brilliance. They should have hired you to direct "Napoleon." It would have been worth seeing then.
Thanks )
Omg he is back. The narrator is super awesome. Glad you could bring him back. Besides thar the hand to hand combat scenes were absolutely fantastic. Very well done :)
Yo, I love how you made the Russian soldier look away from his gun when shooting 12:43. It's such a small detail, but i love it ❤
there are 2 or 3 moments when they turned head away... but to be honest it was so hard to animate that I just made a few of those realistic scenes
@LCMhistory Yeah, I've tried to do stop motions with Lego before, and I know how hard it can be
This was an AMAZING ANIMATION! You can tell LCM brick show put his all into this. I have seen his animations for well over 3 years, and the improvement is MASSIVE! Experience truely is key, this man has worked so hard to get the sound design, animation, and effects to this level, and over many years. This was truely an inspiration to watch, and a beautiful strategic lesson! I hope to see more! Keep up the Fantastic work, LCM!
My wife made a photo of this feedback and she said that it's the best one she ever read under my videos )) Thank you!
Your Welcome! And I always like to encourage people, and give credit to their excellent work!@@LCMhistory
Those videos are amazing and very informative! Could you make more videos about 18-19 early century battles? I would love it!
Will try )
Very helpful! It's great to see that channels like you teach viewers something about history and don't let them forget these battles!

I love this narrating style

Молодец очень хорошо сделано следующие анимация можно Полтаву
as a swede i am happy someone finally makes a lego stop motion about the great northern war
I learnt about this battle in World History this week this upload had perfect timing
Well, now you’ll definitely remember this story after hearing it several times
Exceeded all expectations, congratulations!

@@LCMhistoryyour welcome and you are a very inspirational creator
What a beautiful animation such smooth motions. As an American who’s nationality is half Swedish it’s cool to see a brick film with historical accuracy and representation. Well done man.
Thanks )
Very cool brickfilm about an unknown but important battle! I really like the explanation and staging of the various tactics, which really put us in the mood for a battle of the era! Keep making brickfilms like this, I'm a big fan!😃👍
Someone please put Sabaton's ,,Livgardet" over this. It would be so epic
Maybe I will do it in shorts later... Legal rights doesnt allow me to make it as a usual video on my channel
I just love how realistic and brutal these videos are even if they are legos...
Truly the best LEGO animation project I’ve ever seen
Well done
(Also minifigures are very good)
thank you!
I think this is one of your best animations yet! thank you so much for this, keep up the amazing work!
Usually I am quite self-critical and not very happy with my work, but here I also think that this is the best brick film in all 10 years of my animation.
in 10:15 the 2 soldiers fell I think this is a refrence to attack of the dead men stopmotion
Not exactly a reference, but I also used this scene. I think it helps to show the mutual brutal combat on the field
Good job. I really like how you added sappers (engineers) to video and i also really like volley fires you've made. Thank you for this great video.
I love how the actual history is depicted in this video. Most of the "Lego battle" videos, while I'm not saying they're bad, usually come up with hypothetical scene of the battle with little accuracy of how things went in reality. This video is highly educational and I adore your effort. Keep it up!
The violent and concussive force of the cannon and bomb explosion is animated very well❤
did my best )
Excellent work friend. Keep going like that 😉👍👌.
Thank you!
@@LCMhistory I thank you for creating these masterpieces. Never stop the great work.
Dam for a Lego animation this is hella gritty and slightly satirical it has those moments like the Titanic reference that had me laughing "there's two places on this door"
Fantastic video! Very entertaining and historically accurate. Great job!
I enjoy that proffesor VA much more than voice synthetizer from recent videos
Me too. But as I said before he charges rather big money so this time I had enough donations from the viewers to hire him
Man these battle scenes are amazing
I wasn’t know much about this battle but after check out your videos, I learned something. Really peak bro! 🔥
after watching for 5 or so years, I’ve noticed the quality is ever increasing. Keep up the good work!
I like the sense when this Brave Soldier raised the flag at the Castle
The Battle of Narva on 30th November 1700, was an early battle in the Great Northern War. A Swedish relief army under Charles XII of Sweden defeated a Russian siege force three to four times its size. Previously, Charles XII had forced Denmark-Norway to sign the Treaty of Travendal, Narva was not followed by further advances of the Swedish army into Russia; instead, Charles XII turned southwards to expel August the Strong, from Livonia, and Polish Lithuania. Peter The Great took Narva in a second battle in 1704.
Date: November 30, 1700
Yeap, everything is correct
Can we take a moment to appreciate this great stop motion.
As a swedish person i have one word, YES
This is amazing bro!! Keep pumping!
Thank you!
I really loved it and it's good, but here are some things you could have done a bit better
1. The Swedish king didnt wear fancy clothes or anything, infact he wore a cavlary uniform that the lowest ranked soldeirs used too (google "charless Xll uniform).
2. Neither the swedish or russian forces actually used tricorns, they used something coparable too a ushanka with the flaps ontop. (only officers used tricorns during the early war)
3. The use of rapiers/swords, infact the rapier was the "main" secondary of the swedish forces, they should be charging with both musket w bayonet and rapier. Please dont take this as hate, anyways good video.
also, the swedes shouldnt be carrying that flag. It should be company/regimental colours
Sweden also used pikemen. They made for excellent defense against cavalry in Poland and Russia, and a deadly offensive force against musket bayonet units which simply didn't have the same reach in close combat. The charge of the swedish pikes was often unstoppable. However they had no defensive capabilities against muskets since they couldn't fire back which in the end would prove a huge weakness in the swedish way of fighting. Swedes made awesome offensive maneuvers on the battlefield, but couldn't fight in defensive positions which is a huge problem when you're constantly up against numerically superior forces.
@@oscarernstell6214 how could i forget about the pikes yea
@@oscarernstell6214 the thing is they did not often defend
0:01 zakkary got the best pfp.
This is amazing! Keep up the good work!

Another great animation again!
I enjoyed watching this:D
Thank you!
another amazing one, after this i think you deserve a break, you got more expensive minifigs and you built large mocs to use them on. you listened to fans and got back the voice actor for the professor and kept us updated the whole time. Thankyou.
Thank you! I really need a shprt break.. it was a hard one. And the Professor is back only because of the donations from viewers, alone I cant afford him - 150 euros per 1 animation :(
This is really well made and really facinating to recreate a battle like this in legos 10/10 would recommend
Love all the Action can't wait for the next one
Amazing work ! Really enjoyed this one
This Battle will always be the Greatest Battle and one of the incrediblest Victories in History!
I really liked this video and it was interesting to learn about a battle that I didn’t know about keep up the good work! :)

Nice attention to details and historical accuracy. Really. I never thought it would finnaly be you that would include that some pole weapons were also brought in the charge!
Tried to make as much detailed as I could. Also missed some stuff so its not perfect for sure... but still its a lego animation )
@@LCMhistory still more accurate than others i have seen. And that alone is very impressive
It's good to see that Wilhelm's ancestor was present in the battle!
Great example of the offensive spirit of the Carolean army, unmatched in its day.
Une qualité géniale et une documentation historique parfaite, comme d'habitude 👍
Swedes also had amongst them Finnish Hakkapeliitta cavalry units, they were regarded as the best in Europe
Cool animation! I watched with a great pleasure such a long film with a very interesting story 🔥

i think that movie about civil war in russia will be a great idea

9:26 for some reason I thought this dude had a cannonball and was about to go bowling with some Russian pins (silly me)
