Why do I feel like the monster guy in Dont Open You’re Eyes just was trying to make a friend with the human, but he doesn’t know how humans act, so he just does stuff misters do.

About the second game, I would really love for there to be an ending where you do open your eyes after speaking to him for a while and see him but he grows scared and runs away or attacks you. Or if early on if you open your eyes and he runs away, but he takes note of you wanting to see him, and grows attached to you

That second game is one of those games that lingers in my memory from time to time. That's, uh...there's a lot of personal emotion in that one. It's both incredibly chilling on a deep level and incredibly interesting. Not like, life changing. Just super interesting in an uncomfy way.

Somehow the demons voice in the second game sounds so calming and gentle
That sleep demon was very well voiced. It was so spooky and ominous, but also soft and sad. I was simultaneously creeped out and feeling pity for the thing. Mark's screaming made me laugh though XD

I really like this kind of horror. It actually makes me very uncomfortable and afraid.
Jumpscare horror gives the thrill of fear and panic, but I like atmospheric horror more. The jumpscare horror only gives you fear in the moment of the scare, but in atmospheric horror, you are feeling the discomfort and anxiety constantly.

The third game was so scary to me in its simplicity. There's something so nightmarish about the way the feet of the creature appear, but don't seem to be willing to come under the door- it almost feels as though you'll be safe if you can get the door down.
And then you aren't.
Really excellent lesson in suspense from that game, gave me the chills.

I sometimes sleep with my door open when my mental issues get bad because it makes me feel like I'm not completely alone and I can easily get my family if I need them.

The first game went on for so long that I forgot there were supposed to be two other games after it. It was so weirdly uncomfortable that I actually managed to end up content with "Ron" in the room. The story telling and dialogue was so well done. It was such a twist on the different metaphors that I am currently too tired to analyze, but it was beautiful in a very discomforting way XD
- also the fact that the VA for "Ron" has SEEN this and his Twitter now has "aka Ron" is fucking gold.

@@iatemycat5320 im not sure about the eyelids bit but the fact that your character "can no longer see or talk" indicates severe brain damage, the character also says "i hear something crack" implying the guest has crushed your skull and the shards damaged your brain to the point of severe disability, the player probably starves to death or bleeds out not long after the game ends, as they cannot get help with their punctured brain.

The voice in the second game always made me..idk, comforted..? I loved it when I first heard it and it was around a year or two ago and I’d often come back to this video just to hear it. I still feel the same to this day about the voice. I absolutely loved it though, the game.
The most terrifying combo? Someone who sleeps with their door wide open, with their bed in the middle of the room, bed angled so if they lie down they're looking out the open door
