I find that bringing the knees to the chest really helps both in generating extra momentum and putting the body in a correct position for transition. That is how I got my first rep, and I still use it when I am fatigued and doing muscle ups.

The cues about the elbows and the invisible bar are new to me. Thanks, this should help.

This is good advice, today is my pull day so I’ll try some of these. A question: Do weighted pullups increase the height of the pull or is that attained through high pullups themselves?

This comes with explosive power. Weighted pull-ups them selves will increase strength but not necessarily explosiveness depends on how your doing them. I recommend 20 sets of 1 rep weighted pull-up but it’s as expensive as possible

what do you mean expensive? the equipment or the toll on fatigue?

      He means “explosive”.
