to help you guys FYI you can get photo id card even while on visitors status, just present your passport and immigration docs like visitors record extension if any showing your current address, for the bank, you can apply bank account even in visit visa, just provide 3 IDs with valid dates from country of origin, same when getting creditcard (capital one, koho) and for the phone bill you can get phone plans just provide bank details showing your address.

I have a question about proof of PAST cohabitation (ques 7e) - I'm not asking about whether they are currently staying together (ques 7a):
Can the proof of PAST cohabitation be:
Showing passports of both Sponsor and PA with same home address, or
Showing Aadhaar/ other IDs of both Sponsor and PA with same home address, or
Showing Joint Bank Account with both names and a common home address
You mentioned insurance policy, what about these??
Please advise.

Since it is many different documents but the portal only allows one file, should I have all of them in a single pdf where each page has a description (Hydro Bill, Proof of Past Cohabitation, Family Letters, Photos, etc)? or is there a way to upload them separately? It can be a digital scan of the physical version you have or it can be an upload of the UIDAI version. Either way works since its all scans and pdf.

Hi Suyash, I'm right in the middle of preparing the materials for my PR application. Your knowledgeable and detailed step-by-step videos helps a lot. I have a question here, which seems not covered in the videos so far. When I preparing the documentary evidence of financial support (i.e. shared expense), can you give some advice on if I need to make a note for each expense attached to the bank bill or purchase receipt? Do I need to highlight the specific transaction on my bank statement? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much!
So, i can tell you what i did. I used previous 6 months of bank transactions from my account (highlighting 6 transactions in each statement, one for each month, from my account to my wife's account. I deposited funds in her account every month). i did not attach any purchase receipts. But feel free to do that. it never hurts to provide more proof.

Hi, I have a question. Section 7 e). I provided proof of instagram posts of our public relationship. On the side is visible that people are commenting on the post. Therefore I translated there comment in English. Do I need to certify this translation even though it was nit mentioned to provide comments, just visibility of the relationship online? It is not same as the section in which you need to provide chats, it just a screenshot of the social -media posts.

Hi Great videos and very useful, I have a question,. when a paid represenative fills out the forms. the pdf forms it is clear that you can priny sign and scan. but the online forms will be signed at the consent stage where the name is typed. if the form is filled by paid representative. how would the principal applicant will get access by typing name and submitting. As it clearly states a paid rep cannot do this. pls advise

For one, our wedding was a private one, no crowd. Just us and our witnesses bc it was short notice small wedding. But we've got lots of pictures of the event. Will that work? Or will our file be rejected?
Upload all that you can. A private or crowded event does not decide the legitimacy of the wedding. The documents and other proof of relationship that you’ll submit will decide that.

Hi , your videos are extremely helpful, however I have a specific question regarding one section of this Form IMM5533. Where it asks you to provide important documents that recognise you as each other's spouse, are you 100% sure that a marriage certificate is proof? It's just that I've read on other visa forums that a marriage certificate is a basic requirement but that you have to provide OTHER evidence too that you are recognised as each other's spouses. I am legally married to a French Canadian in Quebec (I am from UK) and am about to submit the spouse visa. I do not currently live with him although I have the marriage certificate obviously in French. Will that be sufficient as proof or do I need additional documents? Many thanks!

Hello....thank you for the videos as always. So my doubt is on "Are you & your spouse Currently living together" . Our answer was a BIG no. SO as per your video, do we just tick the 1st box alone and leave the second one blank? If that is the case, isnt there a box towards the end where they say that "provide a LOE if u are not able to tick atleast 2 of the above sets of questions? So did you tick that box and submit a LOE? or did you just explain that in IMM5532 Part C & not tick the last box?
I have the same question.
However, that LoE box talks about providing proof of cohabitation. Since we answered NO, then I'm assuming it doesn't apply to us.
I'm not sure though. For now, I'm planning to write N/A.

my Turkish marriage certificate got stamped by authority in Turkey , I forgot to take it to Canadian embassy . now I'm in Canada .
In order to authenticate this document,

A problem - the latest version of IMM5533 (09-2022) E will not save the information having completed it (tried twice). Clicking Save does nothing. I tried CTR-S or clicking on the open form and clicking Save, but in both cases it only saves a blank form. What is one supposed to do?

i would say upload as many as you can to provide as much proof of history as possible. the older your history, the stronger your proof.

Will affidavit from 1989 works as relationship to parent or fresh affidavit is required. Also parents do not have marriage certificate. Will affidavit from India work showing their marriage also shows in the same affidavit they are my parents. Plz reply ASAP I have to file app

I have one doubt for this IMM533, we need to take a print out this form and write N/A in-front of each box where it’s not applicable in our case(as per instruction mentioned inside this form) and then scan it and upload? Or we can leave that as it is and upload them?

Hi, Thanks for making videos related to spousal sponsorship. I have a question, Why should we write DOB on each photo? I know it's clearly mentioned on the checklist, but just wondering if it is date of event, then it makes more sense to write on each photo. Dont we need to write the date of event and location where photo was taken?
You make a good point Sir. but It’s DOB in instructions. So I’d suggest stick to that. And don’t worry about making sense. There are people who have been waiting for months just to receive an AOR. Which also doesn’t make sense. But that is how it is with IRCC. It doesn’t have to make sense, it has to be their sense. Unfortunately!
Does DOB also be written when applying online ?

I am confused whether shall I select "Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class" or "Family Class (not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class)" My wife and kid are already in Canada and staying with me. If your wife is already in Canada staying with you, then from my understanding you would come under the “spouse or common-law partner in Canada class”
Make sure to verify this information on the official IRCCs page

While I was going through, i noticed that you mentioned to upload the marriage photos one by one selecting the Photo(s) option. however I had completed this step by merging all photos in a PDF with their descriptions and uploaded it. Would this have any impact on my application ? Is this acceptable ?
