I was wondering for the PR photo, will they make you submit it again at a later time or will they use what you upload with the application to make the PR card? Since the specifications say that the photo needs to be 50mm x 70mm, but the online portal says that the photo should be a minimum of 420 x 540 pixels. Just wondering what you ended up uploading onto the portal?
Check my Photos video. I explained what I ended up uploading. And yes they will request another photo( to mail them physically) when it’s time to submit your passport. So don’t worry about the dimensions for the online upload.

Hi Suyash, Thanks for making these videos, it's been such a great help. I was wondering whether it is compulsory to submit the properties owned or leased by the sponsor, as proof of shelter given by the sponsor to principal applicant
Not compulsory! But it's necessity is subjective!
Think of it this way, if a document does not provide a strong Proof of Relationship, there is no point submitting that document, no matter how legit it may be.
Now, to your question, As long as the leased properties list the names of both the applicant and the sponsor, they should work because in this case, they establish proof of cohabitation, which is an important proof of relationship. Same goes for Financial support which i discussed in the video

My wife applied for a tourism visa before the marriage which got rejected, but now applying for spouse PR, can you please advise on the cover letter and the description format.
The refusal reason was generic- not having significant ties in the Home country and the purpose of the visit is not consistent with the temporary stay. Thanks
There is no cover letter required for Spouse PR. However, if you want to apply for TRV also, then you need to prove significant ties to your home country and establish a successful dual intent case. its incredibly hard to prove dual intent especially when applying for the TRV with an already ongoing application for outland spouse PR. Most applicants are better off applying for just Spouse PR only if the applicant is outside canada.
Consult a regulated professional to see if you can make it work.

Thanks for all the information! One thing we are concerned with is notarizing copies for example scanned police reports, or scanned birth certificates. Did you notarized any copies you made for your online application?
No i didn’t notarize. You only need to notarize if you are getting them
certified translated. Else just submit scanned originals if they are in english or french already

any address proof you have in Canada, or bank statements from a bank in Canada, utility bills from residence in Canada, employment in Canada or property in Canada

Hey Suyash, as you mentioned there is no upper limit for number of files to upload but i guess there is a maximum limit . Its giving me error of ''maximum limit exceeded'' when i tried to upload more documents.

Good morning.
My wife applied for spousal PR one month back, and that means she is staying in Canada with me. Unfortunately, I just have a medical condition for which I have already managed a document from my physician. Now if she applies for her visit visa where she has to prove that she will not be staying, which is contradictory to her first application. Just to mention, she doesn't have any country ties.
My concerns are:
a) Will she get a visit visa considering the medical circumstance I am in?
b) Also, is this going to negatively affect her first application, I mean PR application?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hi Suyash, I believe you submitted your application online sponsoring your wife who lives in India. I am confused with the checklist - it says if the applicant is outside Canada and I am applying under family class , it has to be sent in mail and not online. Can you please clarify this , rest of teh forms make sense only the checklist is contradictory.
Hi Suyash, we are about to submit spousal sponsorship finally, but got ☝🏽 question regarding the supporting letters 7E. We got 10 of them from various people, of course. Can I combine all the letters into one or two PDF documents (say one for family, one for friends) or should I submit them separately one by one ? I don’t know…
you can combine all reference letters into one. make sure each has proper heading so the officer can understand each one

I want to know that in my wife’s case birth place is different in passport and birth certificate, reason for that is we issued passport on the base of school leaving certificate and after that we got birth certificate. So what are the options to fix it. Can I put affidavit in the file instead of changing the birth place in documents?

hey there , thanks for the help with the videos i just had a question. For exporting your whatsapp chats , since it is 10 pages maximum of chat history when submission is online. Would you still recommend sending more at this time given the fact everything fully online still because like you said 10 pages is too small and you submitted 62??
I'd say submit 10-20 max. more is not really needed now that they have changed it.

Hi, the pr photo that we have to upload, it’s mentioned that “when applying online, upload the front and back of one photo to your application”. If both sides have to be uploaded then it would be pdf…right? But the website says it should be JPEG or PNG. How did you do it in your case?
Can you please explain @16:40 that you say visiting a spouse should be before marriage. There is no section in the forms that say visiting a spouse has to be before marriage. I visited my spouse to marry her and thats the only time i visited my spouse, now i am back to sponsor her. Therefore I checked "yes" on the question if I have visited my spouse or not. I am wondering why you are saying this question only refers to before marriage. I think this question means have you ever visited her or not, meaning even during wedding, or before wedding which equals to your over all relationship.

not really. you can if you want. But in my opinion, a solid, complete application with all documents and forms and all required proof is the biggest indicator of the strength of your application

Hi Suyash- PAN Card, school certificates, voted id, driving license and degree marksheets- are they required to be uploaded for the primary applicant? I did not find an option for the same in the document checklist and country specific requirements. please guide
not required, it was my personal choice. but if any government document helps prove relationship(similar address as sponsor) or similar surname, then that helps for sure

Hello, Thank you for such an insightful video. For the proof of funds and shared expenses section, must the sponsor be the one to transfer funds to the Principal applicant. For example, If the wife is the sponsor and the husband is the Primary applicant.

Yes. Her birth cert has her name. Mine has too.
You'll have to go to respective municipal corporation of your state/district and get it digitised. They'll add the name too. I did it last month.
