There would have been no ticket unless he admitted to speeding, which is why you don't talk to cops. They are trained to get information, they aren't being friendly, but you don't have to talk to them. There is literally nothing you can say that would benefit you. For moving violations that aren't witnessed by the officer and are called in by the public, it almost never ends in a ticket, but the cop has to investigate it. You can just remain silent, they will run your docs, and off you go with nothing more than a dirty look from the cop.
Ended up being interested because of all the police interactions. Mad skills. He keeps his "eye on the prize" which is to get back on the road, not trying to give an officer a rude answer which is briefly satisfying but doesn't accomplish his goal.
Is very polite and even complimentary to officers. Tries to end all interactions positively -- maybe the officer won't be such a [insert insult here] to next driver.
But I'm really shocked that police don't know Canadian license is valid in U.S., and that so many police mistake bully tactics for "command skills" or authority, professional strength.

PESMERGA Suiko let’s just be clear. If a man in an airplane above me can use road lines as indications of speed, why can’t a dude on the ground. He sees me passing those three dashed white lines at the same speed as the plane would. How is it he wouldn’t be a reliable witness but the OPP flying over me in a Cessna can be. Let’s ignore the fact it has a Speedo, cause he’s not going to land on me or pace me in an airplane effectively. But it’s still used in court, and valid.
@@NotHeiHei Easy, the airplane has a camera and camera footage can easily be used to determine speed, especially if there are clear start and stop lines to use as a preset distance. This is why the officer mentioned the dash cams cause cameras are legitimate evidence.

Speeding is bullshit "crime" anyway. Speed limits were not introduced for safety, but in oil crisis... Safe speed is different in different conditions - weather, visibility, road condition, car you have etc.

Nice job dealing with the cops. I got pulled over on my Ducati at the Camp Pendleton stretch. CHP was chasing me at 125 for 10 moles and I didn't know it. He said I disappeared and he thought I was running so he had a roadblock at San Onofre and a helo on standby. But when I came up on other cars I slowed down, saw him and pulled over immediately. He was super cool(considering) and just gave me a ticket for 100+. I told him I was gonna plead not guilty in hopes that he decided to spend some quality time with his kids and he smiled and shook my hand and said he liked quality time with his kids. So he doesn't show up and the judge is pissed. He makes me wait until the last case to give the officer time to show. He tells me that officers are trained to know speed and says if they write 100+ that means I was flying. He tells me he's willing to accept I was only going 75 and asks me to be honest and says he'll be my worst enemy for life if I lie. I know he's going to fine me if I say 75 even though I have the right to cross examine my accuser, so I tell him I screwed up and got caught. I was doing 100+. He gets mad, but I tell him I'm being honest like he asked. So he he laughs and thanks me for being honest and dismisses it. 4 years later I get a BS ticket for swerving across 3 lanes to avoid a drunk driver running a red light at night. The cop didn't see the car almost kill me. So the judge(same one, Jerome Verone) says, because it's your word against the officers I find you..., and I interrupt him. I ask if he recognizes me and remind him. He laughs and tells the courtroom that I'm an honest man and says, not guilty! I winked at the cop and said, bye bye.

I like those intelligent questions for the cops related to the alleged witness - you asking if they reported your exact plate number, or could even identify who the driver was... etc.
But it also it good to know enough about the law to handle situations like that. Plus remaining calm through the whole experience shows you all aren't new to the cops hassling you guys.
I like these videos. Some of these questions for the cops can apply in other situations too. Although you're usually driving when shit gets weird. The officer did not have proof beyond a reasonable doubt to even site him and he knew it and when called out by Dave, he decided it wasn't worth going to court to lose. I love the way that they say everyone does the speed limit that's how they can tell that the lamborghini was speeding. When I'm driving down there I hardly ever do the speed limit and neither does any one else

The lambo lost control, went into on coming traffic and hit a vehicle with 2 small children in it. The kids were taken to hospital. And a blue Ferrari got impounded when he was caught going 189kph in an 80kph zone. This shit was all over the news in bc when it happened a couple weeks back.
