I lived in Tennessee for most of my life. Still have family there and go in to visit often. We are an Alabama border state which is where Wilder is from and I have known about Fury since the Klitschko fight, but did not know who Wilder was till his fight with Fury. There are not a lot of boxing fans out there. Ask people on the street if they know who Mike Tyson is... but I would say it was due to the headlines more than the boxing.
