Renegade Theme - Composer: Mike Post

The idea of making a main title for a series about a modern day version of "The High Plains Drifter" on a motorcycle, righting all the wrongs that he encounters on his travel - that sounds like fun. So I came up with a pretty aggressive lick in drop-D tuning and hired a great harmonica player named Stan Behrens - that was all it took. To be honest, it's still one of my favorites to listen back to.

When I first heard this in the 90s it reminded me of the middle section in ZZ Top's Ko Ko Blue. I was heavily into them at the time, still love that band. Really cool theme 👍
