Yes as someone who is Jewish I see very keenly that black people are still so mistreated in a systematic way and even if some individuals are less oppressed it does not paint the holistic reparations we owe the descendants of those that built the infrastructure with no compensation and at other horrible costs. We did reparations for native Americans why are so many unwilling to help bridge the gap we caused for black Americans. Just because I did not personally do something .eans nothing. Many government agencies local and federal were either complicit or outright involved in the oppression that still persists

Lawd!!! Love this!! I had a similar conversation with a few ppl on this subject. Some just couldn’t get it! I remember as a kid sitting on the bus stop downtown and a old man was talking to me. He said “you see all these buildings? All the wealth behind many of these doors comes from the backs of slaves!” He was educating me so that I would understand that a lot of wealth wasn’t by luck or hard work from that individual but from the suffering of others. And remember we still have to see that everyday.
