    Nice, simple, easy to follow.
    Thank you.

Nice video but with one minor mistake. The flow is downward, not upward. That is why the top of the filter was dirty. The fan pulls the air downward and the filter keeps the fan from getting dirty as well.

According to him, that was the most important part of his video but then he got it wrong.

Yep, definitely DOWN. Mine was installed airflow up by assembly plant and instructions conflicted on different CZcams videos. I removed filter and watched smoke direction from an extinguished match and flow was DOWN.

They last you 10k miles even installed backward?

When I change mine, I take a Sharpie Pen and write the date and mileage on the edge of the filter. This is a quick way to check the age of the filter. Nice video. :)

Nice and clear. Well videoed. I also like it that you tell us how long the filter should last. Now I’m heading out to change mine - because some mice got in there and died, causing a stench. Thanks!!

There’s that issue about the air flow direction, but that’s why we work together, right?

This video says the airflow arrows should be pointing up! I started the truck and turned on the fan. It most definitely PULLS air in the downward direction so your video would appear to be incorrect - Airflow arrows should be pointed DOWN.

I’ve never seen a man make so many mistakes changing an air filter before.

Awesome video, but air flow is down not up.

Good intent, but you need to change the filter again, make a new video with the correct filter orientation. “The most important part” you got it wrong. Delete this one and do it right.

It says air flow on your filters, both old and new. HOWEVER, is the air flow really up? It ain't rocket science. The dirty side of the old filter was the top side. Doesn't that tell you that the dirty air comes in the top and the clean air goes out the bottom side of your filter? Thus the air flow is down and both your old and new filters were installed incorrectly. You said this was the most important part...? Then get right. Still not convinced? Then remove the filter and hold a small piece of tissue paper where the filter was and turn on the blower.
Some filters have up indicator arrows but others have air flow direction arrows. Depends on the brand. Up is up but air flow direction is downward.

Last 10,000 miles.....?? I better get to it....115,000 and only changed once.
Ps yes air flow is from top and down

Did you even read the instructions that may have come with the Fram filter? Air flow is down, not up. You got the most important part wrong. The box the filter comes in is recyclable. I'm not so sure about the filter.
