Would've been great with the 2 cops that are experts and Sandro saying how each guy was doing it for the boys
LMAO
I would love it if for every single one of these that wouldn't normally include sandro, they just have 2 experts and include sandro and just put whatever it is he says in the video anyway. Sandro for president 2024.
Sandro needs to get hired full time
cringe asf
@@macmedia4913 it seems so. Sandro gets comments with out even being in the vid.
I'm 100% here for Donut being on candid cam during a chase lmao

I thought you were talking about Donut Operator lol
@@perplxxd❤❤❤
I've watched multiple police chase right in front of me and it's a pretty exciting thing to watch
I was interested by highway patrol reaction but my attention was drawn by donut 😂😂😂
There was a chase like 8 years ago in KC with a guy with a nissan skyline. HE got up to like 180 mph and it stopped when the engine blew. He owns a speed shop in town now.
Surprised hes not still in jail 😂😂
@@alyssat7809most criminal speeding comes with a fine and, at most, 90 days in jail. OP said 8 years ago - that’d be a long time for jail for just leading cops on a joy ride.
@@hueco5002nah that's a felony. I got sent to prison for 4 years for taking the police on a chase and I met a bunch of other people that were locked up for it too. I know back in the day it used to just be a fine or whatever but most states made it a felony. I think the least amount of time I saw someone get was 3 years.
@@hueco5002 When the cops start chasing you, it upgrades from criminal speeding to felony fleeing. Just FYI.

Happened near my highschool. The national guard armory was right behind our school.
Classic but still not killdozer level legendary... Guy highpointed on a jersey barrier, they needed grenades to get the dozer stopped IIRC...
4:28 I remember WAY back when, I was watching Disorderly Conduct on Patrol and these two guys were in a pick up truck trying-and failing HARD-to evade the police and an old lady on the sidewalk smoked the trucks windshield with a freaking 2L of milk. Also I remember the passenger had the genius idea to bail but then ran like twenty feet before immediately jumping back in the truck.
It was Great seeing Dave Kajiwara talk about Street racing, and all the other cases you had on the show. I would like to see more CHP videos with Kajiwara.
The crown Vic was the last vehicle that could actually take the abuse from a pit maneuver and be super simple to fix. Body on frame no sensors and cheap parts can’t go wrong with that.
Cleetus McFarland agrees
Its probably still cruising around today

I dont know about you but its rare to see a dodge older than 5 years without front end damage still driving around without a care in the world. Even the chargers and 300s. Plus cops usually have bull bars.
I don't know what's scarier, driving the hellcat or being *anywhere near* the tank.
Definitely keep it coming guys, this shit rules!
There's a car chase in the movie "Blacklight", with Liam Neeson, where a Hellcat is chasing a garbage truck. The whole chase the Hellcat is just spinning it's tires wildly. I wonder how many sets they went through in the course of filming.
3:09 Homeboy is Jerry from the movie Tag😂
2:40 yo the stole the exact car that pitted him. crazy
Haha Justin with his "we're in Europe" line.

Hahahah I remember that clip from back in the day
I was about to comment this, too! Classic NZ
I feel like it’s worth mentioning the commodore police car didn’t have its lights or sirens on, until they were basically on top of the spikes, you can see the officer throw his hands in the air, it’s not exactly his fault as goofy as it looked
@@tanssi2145 Spot on, there was definitely a communication breakdown going on there!
I was gonna say it sounded Aussie (sorry) (and those roads are not European), but was that a genuine clip? It seemed as if it was from a parody show, for some reason. Maybe too stupid to believe, if genuine
I feel like Sandro's opinion is still valid and worth hearing on this topic haha hes the man
This one is ABSOLUTELY one where we needed Sandro's opinion
@@jongeddes09 It's for the boys man!
That'd just be a whole lotta &*%$ and for the boys. :P

12:00 an M60a3 tank
Oh shit I didn’t think that would show up later lmao
I want the flipside of this with ex-cons that have been on the otherside of the car chases.
Be like "What made that seem like a good idea?" "Well what had happened was..."
@@someperson7 I mean... the guys who were in car chases long ago enough to be back out on the streets now... You're potentially talking guys in their 50's to 70's who were doing shit before the widespread use of the internet and all that. Electronics in cars weren't a big thing.
Take a license plate off back then and manage to get away and ditch the car? What're the cops going to do? send letters out on all the outgoing mail horse and buggies to alert nearby towns?
These days? There's cameras pretty much fucking everywhere, even if they're just in some random passerby's hands, and whatever you do in public that's not kosher is probably going to be recorded with enough resolution to match your face to a driver's license.
But I guess just retards who ran from the police for a traffic stop because they had meth in their car probably aren't getting locked up for too long so yeah, you could ask them what happened in recent history.
They should talk to the woman who was pregnant and was pulling over when a cop flipped her car.

I love how the cop felt when he said “everyone loves police chases!?” 😂😂😂
I remember that tank one when it was happening. I think the news was debating whether or not they would just have to send out another tank after him...
The funny part was, the only thing that finally managed to stop the tank, was the tank's driver when he got it high centered on a freeway divider!
@@knyte6426 Yep, then they opened to canopy and killed him
The thing has to run out of fuel eventually. Like, how many miles per gallon does a tank get? One?

The spike strip 'incident' at 6:55 isn't Europe, that's in New Zealand.
That PIT demo at 5:25 was on a mustang. Any mustang fan knows just wait - they will screw up, lose traction and end up crashing, but usually into the crowds...

Just a side note but the police car that got hit with spike strips, that isn't in Europe, that's in New Zealand; we're in the South Pacific Ocean on the other side of the planet from Europe.
Being on the ass end of the world sure is fun. And your cop cruisers are similar to those of the UK. 😆

Yes! I would totally love to see them react to screen cars getting away!
That’s a seriously great idea!
I'll vote for more chase videos. Nice to have pro's break them down.
My favorite is the bit where they say they'll catch the guy eventually in the called off pursuit.
No, they won't.
@69nites if it's not stolen and they got the plate, they do...
@@richfarfugnuven6308 people that run are typically either driving stolen, have a fake plate, or are already wanted. That's like saying "in a scenario where people don't run they'd get them later"
If you get away, you got away. They don't even get the guys that post their pov of a get away on CZcams.
Also, when he said half the people crash. He means half the people they catch crash. A substantial amount of pursuits do not end in an arrest.

Was that in Napier?
6:47 I didn't know NZ was in Europe...
I'm really enjoying these types of videos! Keep it up Donut!
Gotta include the Killdozer incident from Granby Colorado. Absolutely bonkers story
14:20 so someone was playing NFS Most Wanted
13:18 - The Hellcat outrunning the helicopter would have been a better clip to put here. But this guy did pretty good with those first 2 PITs.
The helicopter that you are talking about has a top speed of about 130 mph so that is not saying much. Unless it was the Robertson helcopter then it has a top speed of 115 mph.
@@guycobb3129 - Heli doesn't need to dodge traffic or stick to the path of the road. So it can keep up with things a bit faster than it until the road is straight.
@@sienile My point was, a lot of people think that was something special. The car was going over 130+ mph it even went over 150+mph. But the new helicopter can only 120 mph it was nothing special. It did not matter about the light traffic the car was going through. I seen the original video.
I'm all for more Highway Patrol, these chase vids were great.

Holy Cow, 6
the fact that you all didnt add the famous DIY tank form the 90s. that one is legendary and will always be a hero.

Yes, more of this, great video. Wanted to see Mustang guy start drifting though.
My favorite one I watched (I was a dispatcher, was basically watching it over the map screen we had). Guy hit a roundabout, then launched over a canal, and into a backyard. I was watching on the screen and since it was just 2d overhead in graphics, I was wondering wtf happened til the officer information came in. It was really cool.

I love all the content guys keep up the great videos!
Yea, definitely do more of these videos, I could binge watch car chases all day.
ALL DAY!
And it's cool to see what the officers think the charges would be.
I'm down for more content like this. My uncle is a retired undercover OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) officer and has a rucksack full of amazing things he's encountered...all while doing it on two wheels. He's even written a memoir.
There’s been studies on this about how police pursuits do more harm than good. For all the reasons the officers say here:
“How often do the criminals take themselves out?”
Officer: “More often than not.”
As we’re watching a power line fall down, potentially hurting innocent people. How much property damage was done by the pursuing officer and offender over what? A speeding ticket? “Sorry you’re stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of your life son, but rest assured, we caught the bastard who didn’t stop at the construction zone.”
I believe in most states, and for highway patrol in general, it is now illegal to do these chases, but cops will occasionally chase speeders for fun with their cameras off just for the thrill of it and in those cases just give the drivers a warning and say they did it because they'd "Never chased a __(insert car model here)__ before."
@@moogle68 You just made all of that up lmao. That's crazy.
@@theKashConnoisseur I absolutely did not, there are many instances of cops having said those things .
@@moogle68 You're making it up as far as things being illegal and what highway patrol does in most of the US. You're also making up them chasing for the thrill, with cameras off. The vehicle cameras don't turn off, they aren't like body worn cameras. They'd have to remove the battery from the car, and then it wouldn't start. As far as what you claim to have seen, source? I'm willing to bet you can't show me one. How could you, if they turned the cameras off, like you seem to think they can?
@@theKashConnoisseur Look, there are numerous accounts of this happening, I'm not going to argue about it. If you don't want to believe that cops get bored at night and chase fast cars for fun _occasionally_ then that's your right, but it happens.
As far as the chase thing goes, I don't know if it has been changed, but I know that at least at some point in the last decade, it was a rule to not chase vehicles for minor traffic offenses, because why endanger everyone on the road just to give someone what was initially a minor ticket. They could literally just use their cameras to get someone's license plate and then surprise them at their address later on with the ticket and not endanger anyone. I'm sure they can still chase in certain scenarios, like if they see a vehicle connected with an active shooter, or bank robber, or some other violent felony, but for minor traffic offenses, it doesn't make sense to endanger innocent lives just on the off chance that the fleeing suspect has committed other crimes. There are way too many incidents from decades ago of big chases causing lots of damage and injuries all for a perp that had committed relatively low level offenses, and that before the chase posed no danger to anyone.
when Justin first started, i was so used to James & Nolan’s bromance that Justin sort of felt like he was third wheeling. Now Justin is one of my favourite presenters and i’m glad he joined the team. thank you for doing what you do. all of you.
they didn't need a token, but they needed a token.
andy reminds me of that cop that pulled of DDE for not having a california license and is one of his iconic videos
It'd be cool for you to get some race drivers and then comment on crashes at various tracks on what they did wrong, if the car is saveable and if so, how much it would cost.
