Will this help SLOW HEAT LOSS?- Insulating Barn Soffit and Ridge Vent

I am insulating my soffit and ridge vent to hopefully slow down the heat loss when heating my barn with wood burning stove. This is just temporary until I can actually insulate my barn. I am hoping it will slow down some of the heat that goes strait up and out of the ridge vent and soffits. I think this should help a little bit. I need your opinion on how I should insulate or put a ceiling in my barn. Leave a comment below on what I should do first and how I should do it. Thanks for watching!
