RhinoHide Tractor Canopy- Unbiased Review and Install
In this video, I walk you through the complete installation of the RhinoHide tractor canopy from TractorCanopy.com. Discover why I chose this canopy over others on the market. Key factors include its affordability, ease of installation, and American-made quality. The main reason I selected the RhinoHide is its versatility. Unlike most tractor canopies that mount on top of the rollover protection bar, the RhinoHide includes hardware that allows for a lower mounting position, providing more shade and protection from the sun.
This is an unbiased review-I wasn’t sponsored, and I used my hard-earned money to purchase this canopy. If you’re considering a new tractor canopy, this video will help you make an informed decision.
Key Points Covered:
• Full installation guide for the RhinoHide canopy
• Reasons for choosing RhinoHide: price, installation ease, American-made quality, and versatility
• Benefits of the lower mounting position for increased shade

Pole Barn Upgrade- Installing a 8 FOOT Ceiling FAN!!
zhlédnutí 208Před dnem
In this video, I install an eight-foot ceiling fan in my pole barn. I purchased this fan on Amazon, and it’s a much cheaper option compared to many commercial fans on the market. This large fan is not only great for keeping your space cool during the hot summer months, but it also helps in the winter by circulating the warm air trapped in the attic space or ceiling, bringing it down to where yo...
Tractor VS Skid Steer Auger- Digging Fence Post
zhlédnutí 329Před 14 dny
In this video, I demonstrate how I attached a skid-steer auger to the front of my LS tractor and tackled a job that required drilling several holes for a fence at my friend’s house. Despite the significant difference in hydraulic flow-where the skid-steer typically demands a higher flow rate-my tractor’s slower hydraulic flow still managed to get the job done effectively. Although the process w...
Skid Steer Auger On A Tractor?
zhlédnutí 1,9KPřed 21 dnem
In this video, I demonstrate how to connect a skid-steer auger to a tractor. Despite potential challenges with the tractor’s hydraulic flow rate, I successfully made it work by using an adapter to convert pioneer connections to flat-face connections. The auger spins at a much slower rate however it still does the job. Watch as I guide you through the step-by-step process, share some useful tips...
A New Wood Yard for Me - A Pumpkin Patch for The Kids!

Today we are using the 35 hp LS Tractor to move the rest of an old asphalt grinding driveway. I finally got the last of what I needed to get out of the driveway so that I can plant some grass seed and blend the yard. I definitely won’t let it go to waste, so I moved it to the new wood yard location for future wood splitting. It created a great working area for me to split wood that’s nice and s...

Do you know what model pit boss this is? I bought mine off marketplace and can’t seem to find too much info on my specific grill. Yours is the exact match as mine. Nice video btw
Yep! Mine is the 820 model
So how much did it cost for comparison to other tops
I paid $450.00 total for this one shipped to my door. Most others that I looked at were $500+ shipping. Artillian was $600 + $250 shipping. $850 total!
This will keep you nice and cool in big blue!
Sure will!!💪💪
Very nice video, Mike! Thanks for sharing with everyone. Our written instructions do need to be improved, it's on my perpetual to-do list!
Hey thanks! I’m very impressed with it! Haha! Your “How To” videos are great though.
check out the hydraulic top links from Holland spare parts. $249 at your door. it comes with hoses and ag connectors
Right on! I’ve already got a hydraulic top link on. I don’t know how I lived without it.
That's a gotta have device. How did people use a box blade without one? Got your exercise jumping in and out of the cab i guess.
I don’t know how I lived without it!
I live in canada and my business needed this set-up for portable pressure washing! Thank you for posting this, you saved me time and money.
That’s great! I’m glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
Should help keep the heat down in winter also till you get her insulated!
Absolutely!
Excellent video and great editing too! Super informative and thanks so much!
Right on! Thanks for the kind words!!
Ceiling Fans by ZMISHIBO, not a Big Ass Fan
No, my pockets aren’t deep enough for a Big Ass Fan. I wish, but honestly I’m pretty impressed with this so far. Time will tell.
Very nice effective upgrade !
Ballard lawn mower blades A1 for this lawn mower. 👌🏽
I’ll check em out! Thanks!
@@TripleTAcres it's a night n day differences in cut quality👍🏼
Hey Mike, Brock sent me. Keep cuttin' brother!
Thanks sir!!!
Just joined the channel. Keep on tractoring 🚜 and have a great one
Yeah brother! Thanks for joining!! 💪💪🚜🚜
Think ima get a shuttle shift. I can deal with the shifting.
That's awesome. Did you hit any rocks? Roots? How'd it do with them, if you did? Great video Mike. Best, --J.Andre. / Old Iron Acres
We hit two big rocks. Pulled the auger out and used a spud bar and busted them up. That’s the beauty of it spinning slow. It won’t torque your front loader suddenly. I was still able to drill each hole in under 2 minutes with the added down pressure.
Awesome video Mike. I've always wanted to try a set up like this on my JD-5055. I think you've convinced me it's worth trying! Best, -- J. Andre. / Old Iron Acres
Thanks pal! I drilled 19 holes with it. It worked great!
One rock and you're toast
I disagree. I hit several rocks, large rocks. The auger spins slow enough that it doesn’t torque at all. Backed the auger out and broke them up with spud bar. Then back in business. Thanks for watching!
Is that pump gonna last? It looks like the 1/10hp pumps with the rubber impeller and brushes, they aren't that reliable
Not sure, time will tell.
Time lapse drilling was awesome, I was totally surprised how slow it was in real time. But still a great way to go if a auger is available to you , and the slower rpm is no deterrent at all. Thanks for enlightening all of us. PS nice hat!
Heck yeah! It definitely spins slow, but it definitely felt like we were getting a lot done. If you watch the time it took on the real time, it took less than 2 minutes for a hole. Still very efficient! Thanks for watching!
Came for the auger, stayed for the straw hat! Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!!
Haha! I had a strong suspicion that you would comment on it! 🤣
Pretty cool, Nice to have another handy tool to use knowing it will work if you need it.
For sure! It made a difference that day.
Please use Safety glasses.
Did I miss the prices?
I didn’t mention them because the price wouldn’t age well with the video. I put a link to the dealer’s website in the description. Their website should have prices and newer models. Thanks for watching!
Question, is this three blade deck?
Sure is!
Which ls tractor do you have?
I have the LS XR3135. It’s a 35hp shuttle shift with 8.2 gpm hydraulic flow.
How about changing the way you mow your water's edge bow, putting the lane shack in the offset position and drive in towards the pond back up. Move over, drive in towards the pond back up and then keep doing that instead of trying to ride the water's edge. Think outside the box. Thinking that you have to drive drive the edge. I hope this helps.

Beats a digging iron and a set of manual post hole diggers!
You got that right!
I was sold a quick connect with my tactor it was supposed to be the end all be all of connections, then i got a ditch flail mower,I had to take the quick hitch off to makes it work and everytime I want to use it with the Pats I dont have to think if what Im hooking up i just do it.
Absolutely pal!
It is currently going strong?
Sure is!! 24/7 365
@TripleTAcres nice I'm on the fence about getting one. I bought a property with an older pond on it. But I just watched a video where a guy killed his 3 acres pond using an aerator. The watermeal has gotten bad this past year
@tractorboys716 if you slowly introduce the aeration day by day it shouldn’t do that. For example turn the pump on 15 minutes the first day, 30 minutes the next, 60 minutes the next and double it every day until it’s 24 hours. That should keep a fish kill from happening. Thanks for watching!
Now that is very cool!! I have wondered about this very adaptation! A few questions come to mind. 🤔 Is your tractor similar in size to a Kubota L series or a JD 2,3,4 series? What is the rated hydraulic gpm (not including the power steering pump) of your tractor? Thanks for posting this!
Thanks! I thought so too. It is compared to the Kubota L 3901, JD 3 series. My pump output is 8.3 gpm.
Obviously not the best tool for the job but hey in a pinch, why not. Good vid.
Thanks! I’ll be drilling 20 + holes tomorrow. That should be the test. I’ll likely do a video on it. Thanks for watching!
Messick's has a video on them.
@@bradjenkins932 the only one I could find of his was one that was made for a tractor specifically. The one I am using is a true skid steer auger.
Love trying new things, right tool for the job is always the way to go. This ain’t it.
I’ll be drilling 20+ holes tomorrow. I’ll let you know if I agree with you.
@@TripleTAcres I hope it works well for you! Seems like all the time lapse says you’ll be at it for awhile. But again, I’m just watching a CZcams video, you are doing it for real so I’ll defer to your opinion. Hope to hear a follow up. If it really works well I may grab one (got a few hundred holes to drill)
Will do. I tested it on the worst case scenario ground. It was like concrete and drought conditions.
Good video. Thanks. What is the hydraulic flow rate of the tractor? What about the GPM spec for the auger?
Thanks! The pump on my tractor has 8.2 gpm. I’ll see if I can find out what the skid steer auger is. Most skid steer augers have a minimum flow rate of around 10 gpm.
"its not supposed to go on a tractor" literally connects directly to the tractor.
Haha! Just because it will connect doesn’t mean it’s what it was designed for.
So the blue handle operates the green rear remotes and the green the blue. Why is that ?
Haha! Yeah, that stumped me too. I imagine at assembly the color caps on the rear remotes were mixed up.
Man, I need you to come take care of my 5 acres lol
You got a camera man/woman now??!! Big time! Good video, Mike.
Haha! I recruited my son! He did good! Thanks!!
Great work on this one!
Thanks a lot!!
Why didn’t u put anti seize on the mating surface of the hub
That’s a great idea and usually would. I didn’t have any on hand. Great suggestion though!
Just checking on how long that vevor aerator last?
It’s been a year so far. I have ran it nonstop ever since I installed it.
75+ cords with my 460 rancher, always starts on 3rd pull, stock spark plug and filters still. DEPENDABLE, (unlike every damn stihl I've ever had!)
Right on brother! Same here!!
Get some good ballast for the back tractor (800lbs)and that will work well for the cattails!
What about a year-round pump for a big pond. To suck the water on a concrete structure .
But a floating aeration would work. something solid.
Are you talking about a fountain? A fountain is better than nothing, but it is no match to a subsurface aerator. Subsurface aerators move way more water and brake water stratification. They also add more dissolved oxygen in the water.
These seem clunky. Ill stick with QH15
Not clunky at all. QH are great as long as you have all new implements. Pats Easy works with them all. Old and new. Thanks for watching!
Just purchased one from garage sale.... No Instructions! Thank you for a perfect informative 2 minute video!

good stuff thanks for your work in putting this together! I had a DIY system I built in 1996 using a continuous duty graphics art pump, it was 10x the hassle and 5x the cost back then, just ordered this kit, love the diffusion especially
Absolutely pal! Glad I could help! Good luck. Let me know how it goes!
