I’ve been hesitant in getting MULHOLLAND DRIVE as well because I was afraid there may not be as much of an upgrade from the blurays but because I love Lynch’s films I’m probably going to give in and get the 4Ks anyway. THE LOST HIGHWAY 4K is terrific!
Honestly, I barely see any difference between Mulholland Dr blu ray and 4k. A waste of money.

Imported the Criterion BD in 2019 which was IMO a major difference compared to previous editions. However despite being tempted to appreciate the subtle picture upgrade, I will hold off for sale time. I just hope that Criterion release this in the UK sometime in the future.
Does yours read as Trainspotting? I’ve been hearing that is happening with a lot of people but they say once they get to the main menu it is indeed Blue Velvet on the disc.

The standard release, yes.
I watched this last night in 4K. I had never seen it before and really enjoyed the movie, but there were quite a few scenes with black crush. I assume more to do with how it was filmed than the transfer, but still a bit frustrating.
Adam is professional and not passional on his reviews. He has British fleuma with American accent. 😂
