I own Alphaville, Le Doulos and Last Year At Marienbad on Blu-ray, and if I buy it, Bob Le Flambeur will be fine on 1080p also.. The 3rd Man will be lovely on 4k, when it drops Stateside!

Appreciate these reports. Ever curious on decision making on classics (50’s-70’s) getting 4K. Some titles, obscure, at least to me, get 4K while other critical & theatrical successes of that era never see the light of day.

Ever since I started upgrading all my titles to the 4K UHD Blu-ray format, I've been waiting for the original 1984 "Terminator" film!

My experience with a couple of Studio Canal imports, One From the Heart and Contempt, is that my imports had nice slipcovers while it appears that the domestic releases did not include a slipcover. One downside is that the included blu-ray with Contempt was region B locked. If the Third Man import includes a slipcover I'll probably go for that.
