Its a common problem in the beginning. Its solved when you get furnace and start melting steel. Keep on watching it won’t be long :-)

I was watching your old survival guide and then noticed you are doing this one so here I am. I find this game very challenging. and watching you has given my a lot of ideas. It is a great way to showcase how there is technology, but how you apply it and what you know is so important. I noticed you do the skeleton different than in the past, is this is something you learned through experience?
Skeleton of a shelter is done differently based on planetary requirements. For Example, Moon does not have any pressure unlike Venus, so any glass surface will do. Mars will also work with iron windows. However difference from my older series was that the devs introduced thirst and hunger, in addition to air and waste gas, so when starting out your priorities shift to Shelter (with atmosphere) -> Power -> Water etc. Also changed is the fact that in order to eat and drink, you need to be in atmosphere that is breathable, so that also changed build order.
