wow your so right i was a union carpenter for 25 years i started my shop 10 years ago but i was working 40 hrs a week union capenter building high rises and working in my shop another 55 hrs a week that includes 10 hr days saturday and sunday selling from 95 hrs a week for three years was hard then retired to 70 hrs a week but love what i do like you i do 10 hr days in my shop everyday
i 100% agree to th "Don´t post to reddit". I recently 3D printed a bike pedal because the original one broke and i simply thought it was intersting to see how it would hold up and holy hell, i started a war in the subreddit. People insulted me for printing that bike pedal like crazy because of safty reasons and told me i am gonna die a horrible death because if it. Now, i am not using this pedal on anykind of sports bike, just your regular bike used for the regular trip to work. I tried to explain them the situation an that i was totaly fine to live with the risks of using that pedal but it was already too late, its just nuts how people there go after you if you do anything slightly controversial, and if it isn´t controversial, they will find a way to mock you anyways. The pedal is currently one month in use, no proplems at all and since i survived the original pedal failing on me, i am confident that i will survive the printed one too. If i don´t, consider it natural selection...

Great video. I use my CNC plenty, but mainly as an addition to my projects that are already in the works, rather than stand-alone CNC projects. However, maybe stand-alone or dedicated CNC projects are what's next for me!

Hey just wondering what feeds & speeds do you use for oak? I keep getting a rigid finish when v carving due to vibrations, im using a 90 degree v bit, was thinking maybe the feed rate or plunge rate is wrong

Knifemaker here, Ive gotten more love and sales from Reddit than literally anywhere... why do you say this? Legit curious. I use a cnc for my knife scales (composite) and I am looking to expand my knifemaking business to my current customer base, so it would have to involve some type of knife related product, sans cutting boards and knife blocks as everyone makes them.
Or do a live to tech how to use the shapeoke I still have a hard time using carbide Crete is there a better or easier software?
Sorry to hear your having a hard time with Carbide Create. There isn't an easier software that I know of but I think with some more practice you can get it! Carbide 3D CZcams channel has some good videos on getting started with Carbide Create too.
Digging your content as this aspect has been missing in the CNC business community. Saw you had a clip with Tesla, Dodge, Lexus. Is there an issue sell such items due to copyright issues? I understand if there gifts, but selling them seems complicated.
Great! Thanks for the feedback. I'd be careful selling copyright items unless you have permission. Making a couple for friends and family is one thing, selling them to the masses is a another
