- Well hopefully we are missing something with the tenet glaxion since these upgrades are middling at best... Sobek on the other hand is crit viable and I'm looking forward to that wouldn't mind a special firing mode on that either though!

I've received confirmation that the tenet galxion chains to enemies so it's sounding very good now!
From the screenshot it looks like there is some damage fall-off as you go through the chain, but it's gonna be a status chance monster with shivering contagion, and the augment giving crit damage and energy orbs is gonna be wild if that's accurate to what we end up with!
hey some info from a chinese language player (the leak was from china of coz), the stats for the augments are as follow, actual numbers are still unknow but this is how they appears to work.
Sobek: On reload: Increase Status Chance and Multishot for X sec.
Glaxion: On enemy assist or kill, has a X% chance of dropping Energy Orb. +90% Critical Damage.
That glaxion looks like it was made for arena endo farming

Glax augment seems very awesome and if the tenet glax has the AOE that the vandal version has it will be the best energy orb maker
There were english versions of the augments posted on reddit but, with [PH] infront, the numbers seemed VERY rough and the numbers were kinda high.
Sobek: [PH] Controlled Barrage on reload: [PH] increase status chance and multishot by 35% per enemy hit with your current magazine to your next magazine. Max 10 stacks.
Glaxion: [PH] Energized Cold
+18 punch trough [PH] on kill or assist: [PH] 5% chance to drop an energy orb per cold status effect on the enemy.
If these are true then the sobek augment could replace a riven if it can be used *ahem shattering justice* but, 350% ms and status chance for hitting 10 enemies seems too high to me? Figured it’d be capped at like 200%.
The glaxion one screams it must be a chaining weapon with that amount of punch through. Just have to make a rad/mag progen corr cold + nourish viral build in case it is because that sounds to me it’ll be a good energy source.
@@LilBeaniebby the Chinese server indicates the Glaxion has changed to 90% crit damage instead so the Sobek one could well be different too.
I just hope they got some cool special perks from the liches.

a cold sobek or a toxin one would be the best imo b/c of the two related arcanes
I hope the tenet glaxion chains, or has a radial chill effect like the companion mod coolant leak while held.
b/c of the zombie nourish builds it would be good to mod for corrosive (not even taking in the acid shells augment)
the glaxion augment looks pretty mid considering players have access to three energy making methods already
Rumor mill is suggesting there is also a 90% crit damage stat on the Glaxion augment which would be pretty nice to have.

Well that is unfortunately as clear as mud when determining which one I want first lol. It's unfortunate and still probably have to wait day of to see because it doesn't even seem like the comments are in a consent on what the augments do completely either. Also wondering if Kuva sobek is going to follow in Kuva heks footsteps with the steel meridian mod.

Either the Tenet Glaxion has a chaining mechanic, has a secondary firemode that launches a cold explosion, or the AoE of hitting enemies is massive.

I think electric progenitor on sobek would be good and building it for gas electric
I love primers that aren't just primers cause they're so rarely worth swapping to, the Glaxion aug sounds cool.
I wouldn't mind more good augments intended for weapon comboing, but it'd shine much more if the enemies inherently rewarded variety of attacks more noticeably.
The main example I always give is setting multi-target and single-target weapons/abilities and enemies apart more so we bring and make heavy use of specialized tools for both, or rely on our team. No longer will the Rhino with the Sybaris complain about your Torid killing everything, and it's nice for the Torid spammer to not just play solo with more shit on the screen.
I think first ammos of the magazine will have higher multishot. And the more you shoot you will lose that multishot slowly.

I will go with Magnetic Glaxion so I can build corrosive, cold, radiation, magnetic glaxion. To take advantage of the status update for cold and magnetic.

I'm going with magnetic, so i can stick with viral or toxin and still deal with shields on the enemy im focusing on (like a guardian eximus).
I'm going for Magnetic too. I have Nourish on my Frost, so that's gonna be Corrosive/Viral/Radiation/Magnetic/Cold on the Glaxion. Probably not the most optimal DPS build or something, but it sounds fun ^^
Remember the changes coming to elemental damage though

There is no internal bleeding for shotguns

Mirage’s 2nd ability with augment. Works really well in sanctuary onslaught. Doesn’t scale very well tho
With incarnons available it's very hard to be excited for tenet or kuva weapons that get tiny stat increases, guess i'll stay in my break for a while longer
Kuva Sobek seems very solid honestly, pair shotgun Vendetta with the new augment for it, and you might have a great pellet count to work with.
Tenet Glaxion, if they have added beam-chaining, should be good, but until the status changes maybe not as good as it could be.
Also the augment is a thousand-times better version of Archon Flow, 5% higher chance to proc, on assists or kills, no cooldown... Archon Flow sucks.
"atleast that thing can actually chain"" So uh... About that.. there's footage floating around and uh... apparently tennet glaxion *can* chain from enemy to enemy. The video showcased that it was hitting four targets at once. Shit was doing work in that video sheeeeeesh.

Something tells me DE was scared of making these new weapons too powerful and missed the mark. Like it seems it going to heavily rely on those augments for them to be useful. I know this is just a teaser but I was kinda excited but not too much.
when do we get more Syndicate weapons? Weapon mods? maybe Syndicate Warframes?
Last time I remember them adding new syndicate weapon mods was around when they added nidus or octavia

To be honest all I care about is if the weapon feels good to use. These stats don't make or break the weapons for me.
15% at rank 0, so 90% at max rank, but chaining would be nice.

For Acid Shells only the base Sobek will still be better. The only thing that scales Acid Shells is Bane and Toxin if you use Saryn, and why wouldn't you use Saryn. The entire idea of the gimmick is for Acid Shells to trigger Lash to trigger Acid Shells. I personally do not see why anyone would use the Sobek to kill single target units.
