Not sure why there are so many thumbs down on this video. You have a good sense of humor and the technique is helpful for those of us who don't have garage full of fancy shop tools. This worked great for me. I dripped the goo gone on with a cotton ball and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then heated the badge with my hair dryer for a few seconds, then used cheap dollar store dental floss. The dealer badge on the back of my truck came right off with hardly any effort, and no sticky or foam left behind. Goo gone cleans right off with windex and a soft cloth. Tailgate looks much better now!

I actually think it frames the plate nice. I think a plate by it self looks worse. Even if it has the dealer name I think it’s 😎. Some dealerships have nice plate frames like chrome or all black . Idk I like some of them. ❤️

This is exactly how I did mine it takes patience. But I also highly recommend doing it in warmer weather for better results! I did one side on my pick up in 50 degree weather even using a blow dryer…the next day it was about 70 degrees same method and took me half the time and better results👍
I need to remove the dealer name from my car. They don't pay you to advertise the dealership. I can't wait for the time when car manufacturers start selling direct to consumer and predatory dealership are gone for good.
