Undiluted Pine-Sol (not generic pine oil) does not damage carb plastics and cleans as well as the (weak now they no longer contain methylene chloride like the original Hydro-Seal. Hydro-Seal II is worthless) chem dips. Bonus, you can filter the crumbs the wash your floor for that nostalgic G.I.party smell. Soak overnight, ultrasonic (really vibratory if we're picky about frequency) cleaners work fine.
