    Nice. Love the 130 Sport. I have the 2001 model. All of the rust stains will come out like magic using MaryKate On&Off Gel Hull and Bottom Cleaner.

    Bleach is costic, I’d use that very sparingly if you want your finishes to hold up over time . . .

      We only use bleach when it needs a deep clean, all other times we use regular wash soap.

    Sweet whaler! i just bought '06, looks identical and guess what has the same fuel issue. Mine actually had completely dead pump even tho the inside of VST wasn't as bad looking as yours. Excited to get it on the water in spring.

    I've got the same boat and have had the same problem. Had someone replace the VST a couple of years back and it ran like a champ, then it sat a couple of years (with non-ethanol gas in it), got it back out on the water and it won't get on plane. RPM's are up, but it just growls and doesn't want to go anywhere. Starts up first turn, gets out of the marina, then when you put the throttle down it goes into this low growl with high RPM's and won't get out of the hole. Any ideas? Love the videos.

      I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but It sounds like either the propeller has stripped the splines, or there is a gearbox issue in the lower unit. I would check the prop first, it's easiest to get to. If it's not stripped or broken then most likely the lower unit gears will need replacement. Thanks for watching the videos we are glad you enjoy them!

      They came already installed by the previous owners I guess, they are pretty handy though.

    Sweet boat! I'm on the hunt for a 13' or 15' too. It looks like it had a trolling motor at one time. Is there enough room in the anchor well to store a standard 12v lithium battery there or would you have to run the wiring back to another area?

      @wildbluewander_1  Před 8 měsíci

      You would have to run the wires back, the anchor well is odd shaped. It would not hold a standard battery.

    How long does it take you to get up on plane?

      I havent really timed it, but it takes longer than I think it should. I think these year models of Mercury 25, 30, 40HP are mostly underpowered. I dont know if it is just age, or if they were underpowered from the start. There is no way of (legally) increasing their power as far as i know.
