Really cool little amp but be aware if you order one online it doesn't come with the dc adapter, gotta pay 35$ for it. But If you use battery only you going to pay a lot for batteries.

Amazon carries a power adapter that will work fine for $10. + on the inside of the barrel and - on the outside.
I use rechargeable batteries charged by a portable solar panel so it is free.
I've got the single one and got good use for six AA. What I like is still keeping the tone even as the batteries get lower. The volume diminishes but the tone still works until the red LED is dim and then you are done. Portability is why I got this and I'm more than happy because tone and delay rock.
I agree. I have the green outer shell/black grate combo pack with adapter and extra cab, the whole nine. Got mine for 89$ about 4 years ago and literally use it everyday for different tasks. Versatility. You nailed it there. Have a great day.
I think you did a very good and professional job of reviewing this. I own 3 different Blackstar amps and have been researching this one too. My research has uncovered about the same things you have said, which gives me more confidence in purchasing it. I've been learning this is the best micro amp setup out there. I would use it for recording and mic it the same way you did (putting a good condenser mic on each speaker) to pull the nice stereo sound into the recorder. Thanks for putting this together. I'm gettin' it.

Would like to hear the single unit as well....you say it is loud enough with two...how about with one? Is the tone real from the amp itself or added features with computers and other stuff? Good demo though, have been trying to make difference of the ISF settings.
No, the amp has tone assuming your pickup is decent. With fresh batteries it's pretty loud. I'm always playing in my car at a parking lot somewhere with the radio or phone plugged into the line in. The size is perfect on top of the steering wheel or dash.
How does this thing sound for general usage? I'm considering the two pack and letting them double as computer speakers and a low wattage amp to play through.

Hello! Can I use those with bass quitar and use it as speakers for regular music?
For bass I would get a bass-specific amp. But yes regular music or using them as computer speakers is totally fine.

can you run guitar sound to other and bluetooth audio only to the other. backing track with bass and drums so you could use the other only for your guitar
Hey, nice review. I've been eyeing this amp but not sure how can I input it directly to my PC? Just via 3,5 mm jack to motherboard line in or do I need a special cable? Also have you tried it as a computer speaker? I've heard it's not bad. Thanks.

I think so!
The speakers on these don’t handle playing a song and the guitar at the same time very well. The overall quality of tone just drops. I’d recommend having a small Bluetooth speaker that you can play tracks out of separately from the amp.
I want to connect this with a powerbank 10000 mAH and play, is it possible without risking the device ?

This is one of the few mini amps that runs only on their custom power brick. So you may not want to do that.

Is it possible to connect bluetooth headphones (for example, the Sony WH-CH700N) to the blackstar fly 3 amp? i know that you can connect a smartphone via bluetooth but I don't know about headphones.
I don’t think so, but they may make a Bluetooth version.
I need to lengthen the LAN connection cable that I found out it is too short for me ...so that I can separate them into Left and Right side with my computer at the centre . May I know how to extend the LAN cable ?
It's a simple telephone plug . Just get a female to female telephone connector ( RJ11 ) and then get a telephone cord with two male ends .
