unfortunately there’s not enough content of joey, there are only a few interviews out there which is SICK but anyways. jaskier, the witcher, joey batey, netflix.
The books are amazing for people that imagine the writings when they read, once you start imagining these sort of books are unbeatable IMO. I did the same with Sherlock stories and I AM LEGEND. I also read non fiction to shake things up, for the longest time I absolutely loved journalistic non fiction books about different things and then one day I picked up I AM LEGEND and got the bug.
@@asurmenhandofasuryan4610 I agree, the games got me back into gaming after a decade+ hiatus and made me realise they are works of art, much like good films and books. Great actors and actress's completely immerse themselves in the world in which they will inhabit and portray to ridiculous degrees. @@Trancedd In fairness, sometimes actors for certain characters are told not to read the books, or not to read past a certain point so that they don't know too much about what is happening to their character when they act. But still, read the books.
its funny that this doesnt seems to be a problem. tell your employer "sorry I didn't read everything the client wrote" and look what happen. i mean shes an actress who earns a shitload of money from it.
Charlie Catashrophe I read an article that he might have a mustache and is going to wear the red hat he wears in the game to show he aged in the past years.
I adore his portrayal. I only ever knew Dandelion from the last game and while I liked him well enough he was never really a character I understood at all or cared enough about to look into further. The Netflix show's Jaskier is the perfect mix of a man who really, really cares and a self centered classical bard. Joey's line about how Jaskier just falls in love with whoever he is engaging with rather than going full on fuckboy was such an important part of that.
thats why i like show jaskier introduction better then book dandelion because in the show he actually has a drive in the challenge to cure the witchers reputation and in the book he's just there. its just geralts friend who travels with him
Him, Henry and Freya are carrying it. Yennefer isn't bad, the rest is horrible. But just the Whoresome Prison blues scene saves the whole season 2. Edit: apologies, the others Witchers, especially Wesemir are great too. I was mostly thinking of Triss and Fringilla.
@Nigger Joe Because sweat sticks to hair and makes someone smells. No, hair doesn't determine how manly someone is no matter how much you tout that about
anya: happy she got it right joey: im still winning its even better that its in the context of the actress who plays yennefer with the actor that plays jaskier
"I can play lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of instruments... VERY badly..." I relate to this a bit to much honestly... I play about 15 instruments but I only properly know how to play 2 lmao (trumpet and lute)
Can someone clue me in on what happened with his accent? In these clips he has a very standard, almost RP accent but in newer interviews it's a lot more ?Irish or Welsh?
When people put themselves into a role with their all they tend to "lose" their original accent. Charlie Hunnam and Gary Oldman both lost their original accents and spoke with a mixture of American and British accents. Gary had to relearn his own accent and Charlie's is still fucked.
Jaskier is the og name, Dandelion is a pretty one but it's a mistranslation- also Jaskier in the show and Dandelion in the games are two,,,, very different characters, thankfully

"im so used to bluffing my way through a lot of things" is PEAK bard energy.
He doesn't know the plan. That's why he's so good at the plan. Yeah, he's going to do this.

Lol
well u know wht they say. jack of all trades, master of none, but better than a master of one
It's stupid he says that because he also plays like half the instruments on his own albums...
As someone who has had to play or at least try to play many instruments, I relate- I forgot most of what I could actually do decently too hnn
"Read the books."
Damn, Joey is a savage.
His moustache and soul patch in that one clip makes him look so much like dandelion 👀👀
Omg he does 🤯
Fingers crossed he keeps the mustache and soul patch for season 2!

"Read the books" quip got me. No wonder I love Henry and Joey's characters. Both of them read the books and appreciate the lore.
Anya happy she got the question right
Joey: “I’m still winning”
we seriously need more content of him
I know I'm a year late, but look up The Amazing Devil! It's his band with a wonderful woman named Madeleine Hyland!
"read the books" in the coldest tone imaginable
Be honest, the Witcher is good, but his portrayal of Jaskier makes it amazing

Where's the comment about hugging Henry a lot? 😂
Yes, also that one about dressing up as witcher at nights 🤣
Ovz D they probably came out after i made the video LMAOOOO
@@hivera9665 that's bec he's not "acting", he's just being himself as Jaskier. No acting required 😉
Here
lol where can I watch this?
"What is it that drew you to the character?"
... I'm him, just modern.
it's funny to look at him bc he's got a rlly young face and then an obscene amount of chest hair.
That one fits with colin morgan from merlin tho. I think that's the reason why bbc decided him to wear that scarf :)
Only obscene if exposing it counts as a sexual display.
Everything from the neck down is chad. But everything Neck up is Peter Pan AF.
Pretty much the perfect specimen if you ask me.
@Nigger Joe Fellas, is it gay to not want to be covered in stinky hair?
@Nigger Joe Because sweat sticks to hair and makes someone smells. No, hair doesn't determine how manly someone is no matter how much you tout that about
He's the male equivalent of Gina Linetti from Brooklyn 99
Except he is actually likeable
The human form of the one hundred emoji 💯💯
I am your 100th like, but of course will never compare to the human form of the 100 emoji
YES
He actually got the interviewers hair. Legend
Did he? Lmaooo
@@hivera9665 Season 2 he has it

I need to see more of that stubble
"I can play lots and lots and lots and lots of instruments, very badly!" I love this, need to remember for future use :D
he’s so charming
I love him
I know I'm like a year late but he and Madeleine Hyland just released a new album and its really amazing!
"I don't know any of these!" "Read the books"
Much like Jaskier, he is a cinnamon roll who sweats chaotic bisexual energy
The art for one of his albums is literally someone putting makeup on him whilst he wears a wedding dress
"Read the books" it's sooo me 😂
He's also in a great folk band the amazing devil
he's just brilliant
I can also play lots and lots of different instruments badly lol
“I can play lots and lots of instruments….really badly”
His eyes are so pretty 😭
Joey is such an amazing musician. I listen to his band The Amazing Devil near constantly ❤️❤️❤️
Right. Table tennis. Sure......
Rakuall Elocin i-

😂
I see I'm not the only one who's mind went directly to the gutter.
Gods I love this😂, love joey batey and I love his band and I LOVE this😂
Him trying to say "marzanna" literally made my day.
He's beautiful 😌
Joey is Jaskier, he was like made for the role.
his performance was really stellar in the Witcher.
i want MORE
He nails it (being jaksier/ dandelion)
Joey is just fun
Are guys telling me he gets paid for playing himself??? 👁👄👁
1:06 Joey you liar! I have heard your songs and they are sublime.
Jaskier is the reason witcher is gets to meet-yennefer and ciri
I giggled at him trying to say marzanna
I frickin' love him.
I’m in love with this man
Read the books, played the games, but my days telling Jaskier to fuck off in the TV series hurt.
I love this man...so much
That one interviewer: OwweeeoooL
Joey: I can do that 🤣
Nonono, it's "ą", "ę", "ł"
This video was posted on my birthday!!
OMG I love Joey in scarf!

Holy shit, he even got the facial hair.
He gives the Klaus from Umbrella Academy energy.
Are we sure this isn't Jaskier being Joey?
"Read the books."
All I need to say to all of you is 1:42
The voice actor in the games never felt right to me, I feel like he does a better job

Why does he change from RP to Geordie constantly lmao
cause he’s not a real person
Sure he's in love with the actor of Geralt too aww xD
Only Joye is/will be/would be perfect for Jaskier. Only him
How is he so perfect??
Joey is underrated, Jaskier is underrated, Jaskier x Readers are needed on Wattpad now.
Dying your hair doesn’t take 3 hours... it’s bleaching then dyeing . Max 2 hours.
he reminds me of jack whitehall
song title ?
Do you mean the first one? (it is fishmongers daughter).
👍❤️
he looks like Daniel Radcliffe's older brother XD
He has uncanny resemblance with oliver acklands
Is this Mat Cauthon?
