Thank you Pu Vanramchhuange for clearifying this misunderstanding of kuki-zo burning meitei churches. The kuki-zo were busy protecting themselve their houses and families. Where will they find time to go and burn meitei churches in the valley where the majority meitei are going door to door and killing the kuki-zo in public

C'mon, for pete' sake, if the Kuki-Zomis residing in Imphal didn't even have time to pack their belongings properly before taking refuge at secured army camps, how could anyone possibly come to any conclusion that the Kuki-Zomis were behind the burning of Meetei/Meitei Churches, that too, in Imphal valley! It's absolute nonsense. But I can understand the allegations made by these so called Meetei/Meitei Christian Community. After all, blood is thicker than water! Period!

It looks like both the centre and the state govts give a free hand to the vastly numerous meiteis to satisfy themselves at the expenses of the tribals. That's why meiteis militants even today are able to go to the tribal areas at will to attack them, but often suffer casualties themselves in the process. This is borne out by the fact that all the later encounters have been taking place at or near the base of the hills. Meiteis christians are said to accuse the kuki christians of burning their churches in the plain. Obviously, when it comes to this kind of clashes, blood bond is much stronger than religious bond. God sees the truth.

Come on, if we are the followers of Jesus Christ. Let's at least try to show some honesty when it especially comes to religion, if we named ourselves as Christian. Very few meitei Christian settle in churachandpur, and never touch the church, we are all sinners but at least we respect the church.
