  • Support The Interview with Karan Thapar - fij.mojo.page/support-the-int...
This week we start a new End-of-Year tradition, what I am calling tongue-in-cheek ‘The Revenge Interview’. It’s an opportunity for a well-known and highly regarded individual, with a sense of wit and satire and a flair for repartee, to interview Karan and reverse the tables. The guest is free to ask whatever he wants and to pursue and persist to whatever extent he wishes to do so. There are no bars or limitations whatsoever. Neither the subject nor the duration of the interview have been discussed in advance. It’s conducted by the guest exactly as he or she wants. The idea is to have good natured fun and to lampoon and mimic but, if it so develops, there can well be moments of tension, innuendo and, even, of pillorying. The choice is entirely left to the guest.
For this first interview of what will, I hope, become an annual End-of-Year tradition, our guest is Suhel Seth, the Managing Partner of Counselage India and, undoubtedly, the country’s best known expert on marketing and promotion.

Sohail seth has been found giving willy nilly silly suggestions. Don’t think he is a Titan in front of Karan Thapar. The content of his questioning or the underlying logic doesn’t require him to be so aggressive and put up air of authority, most of the time. He is not saying anything that hasn’t been said to defend the current government, even by his IT cell chiddis.
He asked no question that was difficult for Karan or could even put him in a tough spot. Being friends with people of different political views is natural but Sobail is giggling as if he scored a point. But to be honest both of you are out of touch when it comes to what common people feel about economy and job market, crippling inflation and wealth gap, crippled justice system, discrimination and violence against women, minorities, backwards casts.
You two rich bafoons are just sitting there wondering why people criticise or not this government vs other. They did the same thing too.
Where in reality people are just fed up of criminals and politicians churning out policies that are not in favour of people. People are sick and tired of your political debates that considers politics as a sport and brings absolutely no value to the people of the society.
I think this type of political debate is utterly pointless if you are just going to be busy feeling witty about the political game, if the purpose of it all is equally damaging to people.

I am yet to hear one Political party which says if the incumbent Govt has made 40 km Expressways and highways in a day, we'll push that to 60. I will definitely reconsider my vote, but I don't think I shall vote to those who can perpetually and only see hatred everywhere. *Former IPS Officer says:-*
I was so upbeat when Shashi Tharoor came into politics in 2009. I still remember talking to so many of my NRI friends on how the politics of India will change for better with highly accomplished people and intelligent people like him joining politics. Then by 2013, I was disillusioned with congress and felt Anna Hazare supported by IITian Kejriwal, IPS Kiran Bedi, great actor Aamir Khan will usher in a new change in India. I even donated to India against corruption, went to Ramlila maidaan to shout slogans
*Now if I look back at it, the only thing I can do is laugh at myself. But I am happy that I realised the biggest flaw in my thinking. The reason we support people like Shashi Tharoor or a Kejriwal is they are well educated. We are brainwashed from childhood that education is equal to goodness*.
    *NO, IT IS NOT*.
*Chidambaram is MBA from Harvard and we all know what he did. Mani Shankar Aiyar is from Cambridge - We all know what kind of rubbish he speaks. Kapil Sibal is Harvard Law graduate and all he does is write mercy petitions for terrorists*.
*It is not that congress didn’t have highly educated people in the party. There were lots of them but they were all crooks. And a highly educated crook is even more dangerous as he can dupe you in even more innovative ways*.
Everyone from *Islamic invaders to Britishers* were supported by *highly educated and intelligent* Indians. Yes, you need them to lord over the country? So *the rulers of India cultivated a group of crooks who were well read to rule over us and keep us poor. And Chachaji and his family also continued this trend and cultivated a group of highly educated crooks to rule India. Today we call this group as Lootyens as they stay in an area called Lutyens in Delhi and loot us.*
*What is the change that BJP and Modi brought into politics?*
*It made jokers like me realise that IVY LEAGUE DEGREES doesn’t make you a patriot, inculcate honesty or bring goodness.*
*But people who cultivate character, personality on the basis of ethos of Culture and civilisation of India have patriotism and goodness in them*.
*Do this experiment if you don’t believe me:*
*You go into any random RSS Shaka in any part of the country and any time in the year*.
*And see what they teach those students - Patriotism, Service, Goodness, Honesty and Simplicity.*
*It is done every day and all throughout the year.*
*Tell me which Ivy League Univ, IIT, IIM, St Stephens, Doon school or any school where you pay lakhs of rupees as fees teach it?*
*I have been to world’s top Universities, have 6 degrees but no where my education taught me patriotism or goodness*.
*It is my dad who taught me and the books I read written by Swami Vivekananda or the man I idolise Shaheed Bhagat Singh who did this.*
*RSS shakhas do it for all the Sangh goers everyday. Hence people like Modi are so patriotic and honest. I don’t care if he went to school or he has MA or not.*
*A person who reads Swami Vivekanand or goes to a RSS Shaka is any day better than a crook with IIT or Harvard degree.*
*Yes that is what we need to realise.*
*Believe in your own ethos or the goodness of your own country. You will any day be better than believing in those degrees*.

Atleast BJP has an ideology whereas the Congress has no real ideology & is a hostage of minority politics. The Congress has sold themselves to Minorities & now they can't back out.
What did you expect when you treat Hindus as 2nd class citizens & then expect everything to be alright. The rise of Hindu Nationalism is a reactionary effect of Muslim appeasement.

The chances of Yogi becoming the PM are pretty slim. He is not from the RSS and the Walrus's team will never let him become PM. He was made the CM because the BJP did not want a Bal Thackeray in UP. UP will be broken up soon and Yogi is not going to get very far. I wouldn't hold my breath on that. 🙂

India’s economy, defence, people capabilities, infrastructure, technology have all improved under modi. The progress could have been even better if we had a better opposition, who are either corrupt or incompetent or both. They have also demonstrated unruly behaviour and some of the words that come out of their leaders are simply disgusting. Our country’s problem is our opposition. They cannot contribute to discussions in the parliament and instead they stall. Sometimes I wish it will be better they go home and sit idle for our country to progress more rapidly.
