There are many here that Bless you both all the time. Jesus Hears our prayers for you. Give Jesus your Thanks for your protection. He is Worthy of it. Be Blessed.
Instead of “Waking up to Folgers in my cup”!! - I love “Waking up to the Crockers with my coffee”!!! I always enjoy ALL of your channels! Give all Glory & Praise to God for keeping you safe from the storms. He’s the one that loves you the most!! 💜
You can build a storm shelter yourself. Concrete slab. Center blocks, thick rebar, concrete fill blocks. Flat roof of concrete. Small vent holes on top. A pin pit for the animals. Also, 3D concrete pour is not that expensive. Austin, was developed for hurricanes and tornados.
Glad you two were safe, our farm was in between two tornadoes that hit MI, the city about 35 minutes north east from our homestead. Got hit bad. We plan to clear 5 acres for a pasture for our mustangs and burro. It's going to take a while as we are doing it all ourselves. But it will be how we want it. Thank you for sharing. Till next time God Bless.
I’m in Wichita, We saw the storm slow down and chaos didn’t happen. The prayer community here was praying that God would calm the storm and destruction over Kansas. We tried to cover the other states also and I think some of the areas weren’t covered in prayer as well, but It could have been so much worse. Seriously get people praying protection over your property and community. God will calm the storm.
I've heard it's better to wait a few days before going to help an area hit by disaster to let FEMA, insurance companies and investigators document and take pictures to determine say like what type of tornado came through that kind of thing then clean up can begin.
Danielle, you need to get your spices or flowers planted, that would look so pretty hanging off the shed. I really can’t get out there this yr, but I’ve got big flower pots and barrels, and I just put parsley seeds, planted green onions, they are so tall already.planted carrots, planted some flower sends, can’t wait. Anything you buy with a root on it just stick in the ground it will grow. I luv tomatoes but I can never grow them.. luv you guys, please be careful❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤ If you want to help the tornado victims you can ask them to tell their stories. In Trauma therapy it’s important that someone take the time to listen to their stories. You could ask if you could interview them or ask to make videos 🙏it’s a lot of people who lost everything💔 We don’t have tornadoes here in Norway , but we have lots of storms and hurricanes can happen.
Speaking of saving thousands, so I built a cabin on my property for my mom - took 2 years as I basically did everything myself and I work a very high level full time job - and probably cost around half as much as it would have and I was able to customize a bunch of things instead of cookie cutter. We were thinking of replacing our Deck this year and wanted to get some quotes for how much it would cost, my deck is very large on a second story (like 10’ deep x 54’ wide) and when we got the 2 quotes it was MINDNUMBINGLY high. Like, I couldn’t even believe it because labor costs is so high. The quotes were for $60k+ depending on what we wanted. I costed out everything myself to do it and it was around $10k including using beautiful Hardwood decking (the best you can get). Needless to say I will be doing it myself when I get the chance but it’s insane how costly it is to have someone build things for you.
How hard is it to build a safe structure for a shelter? I would think you could dig a big hole and fortify it for strength. Being, at least underground on three sides, I would think, would suffice. I have seen railroad ties used to fortify sides of hills and for storage. I know much better than RV or under grain bin. From what I have seen, recently, you must have on in Oklahoma. Top priority, J&D, to be ready for next year and remainder of this season.
Sorry to grumble, but the strings on the window shade are giving me arachnophobia. The knot blobs at the bottom of the strings look like spiders hanging on either side of the window shade. Also, the shade is crooked - it's distracting from paying proper attention to important discussion and 'splaining information. Happy that you guys survived the storms ok.
I just want y’all to know I watch everyone of your videos and I love them so keep on making them and I do want y’all to be safe and be able to go to a storm shelter. I love you guys.
Jason did you see where Ima Survivor animal sanctuary in Texas where the whole Hill went under water? With the flood in Plum Grove by Cleveland ,I know you love animals thought you may be interested. I do get where you’re coming from by helping people all the time then a gut punch and I’m old !! I also been around along time and know who gut punched you
Glad to see you two and all your animals are safe You have so much gratitude when you do it yourself you can look back and say I did that. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
I watched Reed Timmer due to the Wichita threat. These naders have moved the line north and east of us, with the tail swiping Oklahoma statewide, 😢usually, now. I saw Reed driving the Dominator when he said it fizzled due to not enough low ground wind, I believe, cold wind. I will watch him from now on. These guys know what is going on and find them wherever they are. The Native Americans have always said tornadoes do not hit at the fork of two rivers and I have never seen one in Wichita, proper. There have been many in surrounding areas, though.
I get what you're saying about helping. Like on a plane. If the oxygen masks drop you're supposed to put your mask on first then help others. You two are basically good people. Keep doing you...
Jason, good thing youre home cause sounds like you turned something on! LOL Like the way yall do. Never heard it put that way before but it is true, you cant really help others while youre in the middle of trying to get yourself straight. Cause if ya dont take care of you first, there's nothing left ya to help anyone else anyway. Y'all keep it rockin', youre doin' right.
Good morning, good coffee. Nice grass as well. We are so glad you are safe after the storms. Oh yeah, we see you both learned how to plant grass. You put seeds on the ground boom goes the grass . It's coming together nicely done !!!
Good afternoon, kids 😊! When figuring out labor costs, find out what an apprentice carpenter or welder makes per hour x how long it took you = cost of your labor. As far as how you can help in the areas around you, contact the American Red Cross.
as someone who has spent the majority of their lives doing for everyone else and thinking of myself last, i am in the era of my life where i am selfish. i come first now and i dont apologize for it and neither should you guys! i have learned who my real friends are and who was just there while i was doing for them and i am happier without them in my life! take care of yours and build your dream! :)
I have a simple life goal that I set over 40 years ago ... Keep an open mind and be willing to learn something new each an every day (I've taught this to my 13 year old everyday since she was 2 - she knows her "mottos") ... of course a day allows multiple learning experiences if you're awake 16 hours a day, so if you spent just 8 hours of learning One new thing each 8 hours, you will become a master of 1-2 things per day - even if it's just a word - through the course of a lifetime you will have learned about 57,000 different things. That's a lot of experience, knowledge and wisdom over the course of a life. It's basically the K.I.S.S. philosophy - Keep It Super Simple (I know there are other ways to say that but this way is a positive take on the saying). Anyhow ... K.I.S.S. everyone!!!
Here's something that people need to know if they are going to donate money to charities that supposedly help people. You need to check on any charity before donating to them. Some that sports teams recommend during a natural disaster, you know the ones I'm talking about, only give 8 to 10 cents on every dollar donated. rest goes to pay the CEO of the charity, in some cases millions a year, and the rest of that 90 to 92% goes into the bank for a future disaster. Keep this in mind for anyone that wants to donate to people affected in these storms. You are better off finding out if a local bank is taking donations and send the money to the account. These people will get close to 100% of funds donated that way, where if you donate to one of the charities that go in and make a big deal about being there will likely only give a max of 10 cents on the dollar to the victims. I can't name these charities because of being sued, but it's all the big ones that do this.
Glad ya'll are okay after the storms, we were watching the radar guys ( Ryan Hall Ya'll)and saying that's close to Jason and Danielle's area...so glad your all good, so many lost everything. Good move going to town town!!! lol
Fencing is the worst! When my husband does fencing I find something else to do bc I know how frustrated he gets and ALL the swear words come out. Lol. Those little steps add up, consistently, over time. 😊👍
Something else to consider, building the barn was also content for you, so income from the content. Don’t forget about that for future builds. I know it’s a grind, but that is the other part of the job….
Another blend of coffee? Ya'll swap kinds, roasts, and creamers every other week...lol 😂😅 The storms there have definitely made a shift in the last few years, all the weather is moving in different directions, different times of the year. Stay safe. I have a solid poured house here in Florida to rush to... 😂😅 JS. Love ya'll ❤️
I’ve been through tornados and omgoodness it scares every time for you guys. You really need a storm shelter of some kind. Can’t wait to see everything come together. lol we are trying to get our barn finally going. We had to have a 100 trees cut and they left all the tops and we are about done cleaning up and he rufused to get someone to come and mulch it all so I know the struggle. That’s why I am always missing the live always working out here I watch it later.
As soon as you can, invest in a storm shelter!! You live right in the middle of Tornado alley. Likely you won't have one hit there, but it's always better to be prepared.
I think it is not that you didn't pay attention to tornados before as much as it is you basically got a good taste of reality while you were crouched down with your helmet on. You realized the power and you were at the mercy of the storm. You were powerless and had no control. All you could do was watch.
Sounds a little like us yesterday. We had a radar indicated tornado pass just south of us. We got the wind, rain, and there was some hail too, but luckily no tornado. There were definitely some tornados in the system that came through though.
Good morning Jason and Danielle. Not often you won't get Jason ready with an answer, but Danielle had him speechless, love it. Have a great day and enjoy your Live tonight. Will catch the replay. Have a safe day. Love you both💕💕
Lisa not Bob , do your research on what would be the best shelter. I have seen those above ground shelters do quite well. It’s your decision and do what’s best for your family. Lol of course your four-legged kids can come in the shelter.
If you ever do a sidewalk try doing a dry pour. There's a couple in Louisiana, Cajun Crountry Living on CZcams, they have the process shown in a video and it turns out perfect.everytime if you follow their process..

Love you guys for years but the blinds are driving me crazy 😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂
OCD's too❤❤❤ I feel ya
Me too..do you not see it?😢😂
I think the best thing I've heard you say in the last couple of years is, "No more temporary" shows maturity and wisdom. 😉👍

Morning guys. Rain isn’t the only that helps grass grow, but lightning also contributes to the cause.
I'm glad that you're safe, along with the animals. Next time, go to the town with the largest storm shelter with the puppers.

Glad you guys and the animals are all safe. I like your idea of seeding more grass. It’s going to look so nice.
I just want y’all to know I watch everyone of your videos and I love them so keep on making them and I do want y’all to be safe and be able to go to a storm shelter. I love you guys.
Good morning Danielle and Jason..continue keeping safe...😊❤😊
Good morning, you two. The place is looking great. Nice job, you two
I watch all the channels religiously, gotta keep your money flowing to build your property. I guess I'm an OG ,been watching since the start

I love, Coffee with the Crockers! As of now so do 417 others, keep them coming. Glad your both safe!
Glad to see you two and all your animals are safe You have so much gratitude when you do it yourself you can look back and say I did that.
God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
We were also lucky, storms were above and below us. We went to Mustang we have a cellar there not on our land yet. Glad you guys were safe.

You should have built a barndamin. Like Cold Beer Ranch!!! Cold Beer
Good morning, good coffee. Nice grass as well. We are so glad you are safe after the storms. Oh yeah, we see you both learned how to plant grass. You put seeds on the ground boom goes the grass . It's coming together nicely done !!!
Can you imagine all the barbed wire put up in the USA in history with all manual labor?!?! So cool you are doing it all yourselves❤❤
Good afternoon, kids 😊! When figuring out labor costs, find out what an apprentice carpenter or welder makes per hour x how long it took you = cost of your labor.

You should buy a little rain catchman to know how much rain falling on your ranch every storm
Sirens went off here yesterday afternoon, N. Illinois. Thank God it didn't cause anything here. God help everyone out on the plains this time of year.

Slow and steady wins the race! You two are working at a steady pace and doing it your way. Keep up the great work and don’t listen to nay sayers.
I know the storm shelters in Florida don't allow pets. This is why you see so many videos of trying to save the animals after the storm.
Some in Oklahoma don't allow pets either

Good morning Jason and Danielle! ❤️😎👍
Good morning everyone.

Lisa not Bob , do your research on what would be the best shelter. I have seen those above ground shelters do quite well. It’s your decision and do what’s best for your family. Lol of course your four-legged kids can come in the shelter.
Jason Danielle just wants to get her baby back so she can give him trades
There is some great dark roast coffees. Have a great day guys!
Your barn would be called a Carolina style barn.
Dark roast is my go too. Yum 😋
If you ever do a sidewalk try doing a dry pour. There's a couple in Louisiana, Cajun Crountry Living on CZcams, they have the process shown in a video and it turns out perfect.everytime if you follow their process..
