I was telling the wife how many different skills you are teaching your kids. When your house is finished, they will be experts and can take those skills into the world. Also, by broadening those skills, you have taught them merch marketing, video skills, and lots of other skills they can monetize as adults to move forward in the world. The goat barn is another great idea, and learning experience. Using heavy machinery is another, architectural design is another. Lots of life lessons....and in the end, you and they get a beautiful family home that will outlast all of you. Thanks....omt, is a book in the works?

NOW it’s getting exciting! I don’t know how you contain yourselves, I’m sitting at home watching you and I’m excited beyond belief! I’m really looking forward to the walls being high enough to start the roof. Cudos to the kids, not many kids can say they helped build their house! It’s incredible what this experience is teaching them for their future.

I was just reflecting on how 4 years ago, this was just dirt all around you. Just look at how much you have accomplished! It is amazing!!!
And I know it's hard work, and I'm sure the kids at times may have enough. But as an adult looking at what they are learning, all the things they can imagine they can see it can be done. You are creating amazing youths and young adults. resourceful, helpful, responsible and community-oriented. Kudos!!

I always wonder if your kids feel like they are going to lean into this life as adults too or if any of them are like “omg, give me a normal house I never want to build anything again!” They are such good kids though, it’s been a joy watching them grow up from the other side of the screen. ❤

It's great to have a solid knee again. He put a bone back into place! It's been out of place since August 7th of 2014! That was fun to see the girls riding by on the horses.
