For guitars, you're right. As long as i know on this one they do not use the seventh string (the thickest one, tuned down very low) on this song. Whereas on other heaviest song they use all strings. And about the mix being muddy, yes it is. Personnaly I love it. What does not help is listening through youtube or other plateforms. Listen to it from the CD files (FLAC files). The quality is much better and even technicaly goes beyond what our ears are capable of. I find it so much better to listen to FLAC audio. That's the downside of streaming plateforms : they make use listen and settle for cheap audio quality without realizing that the quality of what we listen to is like fast food for the ears. That's especially true for metal, a genre that add so many layers to listen to.
