100000miles down the road, GMC will crack and rubber plastic will fall apart and armada will still running strong just as new. I had GM nightmare and will never buy a GM ever. If you only lease it for 3 years then GMC is not a bad option

Feel the same. Wife and I had a 2012 Pathfinder and that thing was a tank. We have since owned an Audi SQ5 and Lexus GX and the wife still reminisces over the Pathfinder. We had to go out and buy an Armada. Love it. If you liked your 08 Pathfinder you will love the Armada. More similar in ride and comfort than people realize. With all the added amenities of course.

Armada all the way. Cheaper, just as nice inside, tows more, no auto stop start or cylinder deactivation, and has a 100,000 mile warranty. The Tahoe high country is over 90 grand, I cant imagine the price of a Yukon Denali. You could move up to the infinity QX80 and still be less. But GM really did step it up with the new tahoe/uburban/yukon/escalade.

It seems after looking it up that the Armada being such an old tried and true platform that it has a reputation of going over 200k even into 300k with not many major issues other than typical maintenance and wear and tear. Can the same be said for the Yukon?

It all depends on how you keep your vehicle, i have a 2023 yukon Denali, I’ve driven about 76000 kilometers with proper maintenance and the car is running very strong. As you would have to take the car seat out every single time to get kid to rear seat as they only fold over and dont slide. Sad that the pathfinder has the tech to have car seat installed and access to the rear, yet the vehicle built for large families does not. Not at all, if we wanted utility we would take my lifted FJ Cruiser with 35's and an awning. Ours is for hauling family and towing our camper. If they were both 4x4's then that may be true. Kind of an apples to oranges comparison. Large SUV's with 4x4 are pretty limited in their capability. It's more on an on road safety feature in in snow more than anything.
I doubt that AT4 could tow our camper. It's all really about how you intend to use them. Armada or an AT4 for offroad? No thank you.

I have a 2021 GMC AT4 and my wife has a 2022 Nissan Amanda platinum. She love my truck more than hers. She loves the room in it, and the ride, She wants to trade it in, For a GMC Yukon AT4.

it's unfortunate we have to look to Japanese cars for quality and reliability I would rather by American but the Japanese cars offer a much better value - when I was younger I refused to buy a foreign car bu that has changed. Domestic SUVs are less reliable and made with cheap parts in the interior. Though I will say the Yukon Denali is really nice on the inside - but $90,000....come on. America's car making peaked in the late sixties when the big 3 had legitimate competition against each other and sought to build more powerful engines than each other. I would rather buy American but the value is just not there anymore

100% AT4, for the win. Everything about the GMC Yukon AT4 ($75,250) is better than the Armada ($76,000), which I also think looks like a cheap attempt at reaching Yukon comfort, but falls short and looks old. The second row seats fold flat in the Yukon (all versions), giving a large, flat cargo deck, and full access from all rear doors In the Armada, the seats fold up and forward. losing cargo space, as well as access. The Yukon to me has more presence, whereas the Armada looks generic. The GM Suburban based SUV's (Tahoe, Yukon/Yukon XL, Escalade/Escalade ESV) always lead the way for their class. You also get a stronger drivetrain in these SUV's, because it's developed off of the stout Silverado/Sierra body-on-frame platform.

Knees bent to your chest, poking the back of the seat infront of you, and you're slightly comfortable?? Yea, he's a Nissan plant trying so hard to pitch that hideous Armada😂... If I wanted a 3rd row with 28-30" legroom, and small trunk capacity, I would go with a midsized SUV. Infact a Pilot and Telluride offers better interior specs than the awkward Armada. And using an AT4 instead of a Denali for this comparison to their "Platinum" doesn't make sense. You're pointing out rims and chrome when one is specifically designed for off-roading?

I think the Armada looks better but that's as far as it goes. Unless Nissan has fixed all of the MANY bugs and issues, I'd steer far, far away from it. Just pull up Armada issues. You will be blown away!

GM is engineered to fail. With European cars or Japanese cars a sensor will fail, a rubber gasket may break, but with American cars can't tell you how many people have total engine and transmission failure, almost always GM around 70-100k miles
