Adams went to LV to be with Carr because he wasn’t sure if Rodgers was going to be with the Pack more than one year. Now Carr is most likely gone and Adams only played one year with him. Ironic.

Jay and Derek are similar in that they both showed glimpses of promise and had a few seasons with Good stats but neither were good enough to lead teams to success. Jay did win almost half his games (74-79) and he won 1 playoff game.

Which wasn’t even close to his best season in Chicago. They just liked his high QBR that season and they credited Gase with that when Cutler, IMO, actually regressed.
For comparison, Cutler went 21-10 TD to INT the year he was under Gase. The year before Cutler was 28-14 (TD-INT) and threw for more yards on top of it.

What is it really with raiders fans and Derek Carr? The guy is NEVER gonna win the raiders a superbowl. Something happens to that guy when it’s that time of the season where he’s gotta be great. Derek Carr has been the only piece of the Raiders' puzzle preventing the entire organization from complete collapse this past decade. These issues, which the boys rightly bring up, start up top with ownership. The Black Hole used to despise Derek Carr; these past few seasons have shown us the light. DC will forever and always be a Raider and we are proud of his service. I hope he wins a Super Bowl with a different team just to stick it to Davis.

Dont think many Raider fans would disagree. Derek Carr has looked elite at times throughout his 9 years. At the end of the day hes only lead the Raiders to the playoffs 2 times in 9 years. He has looked really bad this year. I dont wanna hear the excuses about the defense or offensive line. The defense played terrible the first 10 games of the year but they have done everything to give the team a chance to win. Carr hasnt produced. Top 5 receiver and the top RB in the league and he is by far the weakest link on the offense. Not consistent. Thanks for your service and good luck elsewhere. That simple.

You also need more than part of one season with a...pretty mediocre roster and expect any coach to win.
Let him pick his players, spend the 50-100M they have(or cam easily create in cap space) and let him add to the OL, and wherever else they need help and have a little patience.

63-79 record 35,222 yards 64% comp 217 TDs 99 INTs for a raiders team that was never stacked or favs in there own division (broncos then chiefs) is pretty decent. As a Niners fan, I've liked Carr a lot over the years, I've heard and seen from Raiders fans how he was the sole reason for the team being in games at times. One szn they had a chance to make a legit SB run until Carr got injured right before the postszn which ended their hopes. Can't blame it on him, people meme him a lot because he's not a superstar QB but he's always been a great QB in my eyes. Wish him well wherever he ends up.

Rip Carr - 2018-2021 The only QB in the league to go over 4,000 yards passing and average 68% completion percentage in that span. The greatest QB who never lived. 33 total game-winning drives - 24 less than Brady who has 14 more years in the league than him.... Its quite shocking how insane Carr's stats are when you are a true Raider fan and you've seen the dilapidation that has always surrounded him season after season.

I said before the season I wonder how Adam's will feel when his qb is surrounded by off-season controversy, but not from retirement, from being bad. It gets interesting, does he stay to play with a rookie qb, does he spend an off-season recruiting, or just demand out of town? I think he will be gone unless he can get Rodgers to come play with him, Lamar, everything else is a major downgrade for him because even as average as Carr is that's his best friend

Archie Manning record was 35-101-3 in 12 yrs 10 yrs with the saints, one yr at Houston and one yr at Minnesota the only thing Carr has is he made playoffs Archie never went to playoffs but Archie when retiring had the 17th most completions and in 79 for saints he lead the league in yards and completions and was the best Qb that yr on 2-11-1 team.

Then they switch quarterbacks and an old close to retirement Manning sets passing records with those receivers. I like Tebow, I think he should have been given another TRUE chance at starting elsewhere, unlike the Jets and Pats. You can't tell me he was worse than all of the quarterbacks the Browns went through for example, but he was still a project at quarterback. Media circus though.
Not a Raiders fan, but Carr was screwed over horribly. He was drafted in 2014 by Dennis Allen. Allen was fired when Carr was a rookie. He did so well under Jack del Rio and got hurt before their playoff run in 2016 and looked like an MVP candidate. Then Gruden came in, and Gruden wasn't a fan of his. Bisaccia came and went, and now it's McDaniels. Derek Carr went through too many administrations to really cement his mark.
Gruden not a fan? Gruden picked Carr over Tom Brady. Carr was the QB that Brady was upset. That they picked Carr over him. When Brady was a free agent, leaving New England

Dude had like 7 offensive coordinators and 6 head coaches in 9 years. And haven't had 1 quality wide receiver since letting Cooper and Crabtree go 5 years ago until this year. Been a Raiders fan since 1986...so I 💯 feel I have the right to say, that we have the biggest sh**show of a franchise in the entire NFL during that time. From Todd Marinovich, to Robert Gallery, to Henry Ruggs and JaMarcus Russell. It's Always been like this. And now people wanna blame Carr? I've been saying all year long McDaniels would sabotage Carr on these play calling schemes in the second half of every game this year. Everything that works in the first half, McDaniels does the opposite the second half. He wants his "own" drafted QB and to do it his way. He inherited Carr...and obviously doesn't want him.
Carr isn't the problem, his receivers are responsible for most of his interceptions. If Carr had a team like Dak, he would actually have a chance.
