Really do appreciate you taking the time to post this fix. I used it on my parent's Kenmore (rebranded Frigidaire) stove today, and it worked great and is surprisingly rock solid. The one thing I might suggest for others that need this fix is to simply drill two new holes for the top two holes. The bottom holes were easy and lined up naturally. I found it extremely difficult to bend the binder clip wire into that circle-shape to line up the top two holes. After struggling for awhile, I just bent the clip wire on 90 degree angles like the bottom two and drilled new holes in the steel bracket where the top two binder clip wires naturally lined up. That was quick and easy. Thanks again for this great idea.

This didn’t work for me due to a plastic inside. What I did was to that five wires off the component so I could work on it. I then drilled small holes in the side directly across from screw holes. Carefully, your drill doesn’t go right into the components. I then took a fine wire and looped it into the hole, gave a twist and then started each screw to the stove and looped the wire around the screw and tighten the screw while holding the wire in place (must like you would do if your tighten the wires on a plug or switch box). It tighten the component and face tight against the stove. Mine was only being held by one screw and this fixed it. Hope this helped.
2:36 He recommends using binder clips to hold the digital display for people who complained of the audio being too low. My mother's GE oven has her range display loose like this, I will see if your tips work

Either I'm deaf or his audio is too low. Sorry, but it sure would be helpful if we could hear you while you're doing the repair.
What happened to the sound? If brackets are broken, the binder clips are a great idea...just hope it lasts

Looks like some "L" brackets bent on one end like a J would work. Kinda Z shaped with the hook of the J on one end.
