I'm totally with you. Even though I literally knew nothing about Harry Styles before JK's cover of Falling, now I start to like and respect Harry for the fact that this great song came into light thanks to him. I'm an ARMY obsessed with JK's Falling and still like Harry.
It's Harrys best song and of course Jungkook totally did it justice. He made it his own in fact, definitely cover of the year 💛👏 And by singing this song, many fans who are not familiar with Harry, will discover more of his great music too

I always look forward to Jungkook covering songs. from my point of view, since I don’t listen to the radio or listen to what music is out there, I hear them from Jungkook for the first time. So I’ll stand by me saying he sounds better than the originals. No dislike to the original artists though. 🤷♀️👍

I'm a huge 1D fan. Saw them in concert starting all the way back on their first tour with BTR. I've followed most of the boys since they have went solo, but specifically Harry and Louis. Harry is such a brilliant singer and songwriter.
I adore that JK did this song. I love when he sings in his lower register and this was a great choice.

Jungkook singing in his lower register is just all I wish for. He coveys so much emotion already (literally the way he breaths during a song says so much), but there's something so raw about when he digs deep into his the lower parts of his range that makes me WEAK!

Jungkook used to be able to sing in his more natural raspy tone like this during all of bts older songs…. I LOVE it. Jk and v both have to sing a higher pitch bc jin and jimins keys are higher…. So most of the songs follow that … and jk said he isn’t good at songs that have like belty parts at all and I have been waiting for him to figure out that he can do anything he wants to and the world has no idea what this man has to offer…. I was sobbing bc of how beautiful it is but I was crying more than he’s confident enough in himself to put this out… I’m so so proud of him!!!!!

JK has such an amazing voice that's powerful but can convey emotion at the same time without losing any of his stunning vocals. I honestly hope more people decide to check out BTS after hearing this cover (in English) and realize that they can SING regardless of it mostly being done in Korean or to a lesser degree Japanese.
Jungkook did an amazing job and put much emotion into the song. It was just beautiful. The vmin TinyTans are super cute.
I also don't understand fan wars, and like you said most of the time when it is fans and not the artist who usually are getting along just fine and sometimes are friends. So I don't get it. Anyway, love the reaction!💜

I’m so happy you reacted! I got notification for this while busy at work ...when I got a chance to listen to it...I was so emotional about it! I know I’ve heard this song in the radio but it’s like I heard it for the first time again! He just had so much feelings in his rendition and that long high note was just floating so effortless. I listened to the original and you are right...Harry is also fantastic...a much more powerful version and it’s quite a beautiful performance. Kudos to him...it’s just JKs is more emotional and nuanced IMO...I would really love to see collaborations with these amazing artists!

Yay! First reactor that knew the song! I've been obsessed since I saw him live and the MV! And, as you, I know 0 about 1D but I do like HS when something pops up (Golden is a superb song too!). The line "What if I'm someone I don't want around?" hits hard every single time.

personally i haven’t really seen a lot of fan wars about this cover. all i’ve seen is people say “jungkook now owns this song” or something like that. i could see how you might think this is disrespectful, but this is just a common joke in the fandom about how jungkook does the covers so well. we’re not trying to bring the other artist down, we just say this as an exaggerated expression to hype up JK…

Agreed, no need to compare. Both are amazing artist with their own style. Both also delivered the message of the song very well.
As for JK, i admire the range of his vocal in this song, the transition between the range was also very smooth. I'm also love the way how he always brings the best interpretation of each song he covered, put a perfect amount of feeling into it and thus made us feel it's his own song. Indeed he is a great artist.

As a vocalist... for example his voice isn’t unique in a sense that it has a signature (for example not husky like Vs, or the very light high register jimin has where you’ll recognize them anywhere) , it’s neutral meaning he can literally do any style and it’ll suit him. He can take it from ballads to pop/rock, chest voice/head voice/whisper voice, it’s honestly amazing. It’s always so soothing to hear him, especially the lower register 😍 he needs to drop JJK1. Seeing what he brings to the group and what main vocalist means, you already know what I’ll recommend 💀 (JJK MV by IS)
Im a Harry fan and a BTS fan and I was upset because some bts fans were being disrespectful saying stuff like JK ended Harry he will never be able to sing that song again so childish. anyways JK 's version was amazing 👏
