- BTS member Jungkook covered Harry Styles' song "Falling" in October 2021, and when he sang "I get the feeling that you'll never need me again" it pierced the soul of army and stylers alike.
When I asked for suggestions for solo songs by BTS members, many of you recommended this one. Falling fits Jungkook's voice so well, and it was a pleasure hearing his voice shine on it.

Jungkook is 24 now, he was 13 when he started as a trainee, 15 at debut.
Jin is the oldest being 29. The rest is in between. But in Korea they count age differently, and they're older.

He always brings so much emotion whenever he sings, and top notch in harmonizing and adlibs as he always does in almost all their song. And by the way JUNGKOOK is good in painting too. Not sure about being the best 'vocalist' but I'd definitely say he's the best 'all-rounder', I know people regard Jimin as the best overall performer in k-pop but i've always favoured JK in that regard. Not that it matters when they're in the same group xD

6:10 It‘s interesting that you mentioned it, because Jungkook (you can also call him JK) mentioned in one interview: "I think I just paint my feelings onto the song as if I'm coloring". He is musically talented and very artistic on top of that (for example he also paints very well), so it reflects in his music and singing.
6:45 Yes, they all are great vocalists and everyone of them has his own style and distinctiv color, but he is their main vocalist since debut. He is known for his pitch accuracy (even when dancing hard), his great sense for harmonies, ad-libs and runs, he can do them on the spot. He does a lot of work in the background for the group and their songs like the guides, harmonies, layering, ad-libs and he is credited in nearly every BTS song for the chorus or background vocals. If you are interested to see more background information on this, I recommend “Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS“ by Ida S.
I hope you react to more songs of BTS, for example “The truth untold“ by the vocal line (there are great live versions! Some with english subs) or maybe their cover of Coldplay‘s “Fix you“ from the whole group at first.

Jk is a great artist! Listen to Euphoria , My Time, etc. Its his own solo songs... incredible. He also does his own harmonizing that you hear in the background. He's very diverse on songs. By the way, JK did the painting that you see for the cover of Falling.

Ok now that I’ve watched it, just to let you know, RM is the one in the group that is the most fluent in English. However Jungkook has been studying it (as some others have too), he’s done many English covers over the years, his pronunciation has improved a lot since the beginning. It wasn’t ever bad to his credit, he’s always been fairly decent but with this song it’s perfectly done, I think anyway. He’s also getting better at speaking it.
Wow, there is a ton of BTS content I’d like you to do (along with more Kelly Clarkson lol), their cover of Coldplay’s Fix You is a good one. They do have so much good content though, you can’t really go far wrong with any of them. I know you’ve done a couple others so I’ll watch them sometime shortly. jungkook's voice is truly beautiful! 💚 I first fell in love with his voice listening to his cover of paper hearts by tory kelly. He was way younger back then so his voice wasn't as developed but already super beautiful. Looking forward to the rest of the tiny desk reaction video as well, cause so far you only listened to their english songs and I'm curious what you will think about the korean ones.
Jungkook is incredible, I really liked how you said he paints the words when singing, because he said it himself, how he paints his emotions onto the songs. Main vocalist jungkook by Ida s and jungkook king of acapella by Ida s as well are really amazing and informative videos. The acapella one is my fave bc hearing the magic that comes from him and his raw vocals with his crazy versatility just goosebumps everytime… they’re all incredible… but jungkook is just my bias…. But any of the members is incredible and deserve love and support for sure… you can’t go wrong with bts. Jk hits different with everything he does… but enjoy the journey!
Also there are 4 vocalists and they have positions…. Where “main” is the top vocalist and then “lead” is just under that and then vocalist.. jungkook is the main vocalist, jimin is the lead and jin and v are both vocalists. Jungkook is know for his stability, harmonies and ad libs… but again… all of them are exceptional and top tier and just want that to be clear… bc he is my bias but I love all 7… even the rappers can sing… especially Jhope… and jungkook is a sub rapper as well lol and yes it’s him doing the harmonies here…. He does most of the harmonies and back vocals with adlibs for bts music in general as well 💜

Every member in BTS has such a uniqueness to his voice so if you want to check out more solo stuff from the singers, some of the best performances are JK's Euphoria and My Time; V's Singularity and Stigma, Jimin's Serendipity and Lie, Jin's Abyss and Epiphany. There are more songs but I think they're enough for now lol.
The rappers are also pretty good at singing and they write amazing lyrics so even their group songs are definetly worth watching💜

Still with you (gentler, and on the higher side of his tone scale. Lyrics video, made by a fan),
