According to JK himself, the other members, as well as the personality test BTS took, he is an introvert. He was very shy when he was a trainee and first met the other guys. If you watch him in interviews when they're all together, you'll see he doesn't talk much unless the question is directly asked to him. There are actual clip compilations on CZcams and TikTok of him moving away from the mic stand and away from RM so he won't have to speak! It's hilarious. There are also funny compilations of him shying away from girls. Don't get me wrong, he's super outgoing with the people close to him and he's an absolute goofball with the other members (and a terrible flirt with ARMY on Weverse Live!), but with strangers, he seems to prefer being more quiet.
Shyness and introversion are not the same thing. Even extroverts can be shy. He’s less shy, but being an introvert is the way you are for life, you’re born that way.
@@AnIslandPotter I'm aware of the difference. I was just stating the facts that JK himself, as well as the members have mentioned in interviews and various tv shows/bts shows over the years. I don't pretend to know for sure because I don't actually know him.
JK is an introvert. When he joined the company he was only 13 and he was crazy shy. He said he is keen in dancing and didnt expect to become the lead vocals. If you notice the group dynamics, JK doesnt challenge his older members. When there is a discussion he tend to keep quiet and then agree with them. This is very much a cultural thing in SK too with the younger person deferring to an older person. It is the other members' too that helped him break out of his shell and find himself.
His best live performance of 'Euphoria' was at Wembley Stadium in 2019, so you kinda missed out on his personal best there, but no matter, you can still watch it and see how he lights up when he is with ARMY.
I studied body language and micro expressions for a while, and I have always noticed Jungkook is more reserved. He was in the early years of their group, V mentioned it before. That's not something anyone really gets rid of but he doesn't show it much when performing. It's usually when he's off stage. During interviews you'll catch hints of his anxiety. He is a very humble person (as well as the other members) and that has never changed no matter how successful BTS has become.

Thanks for reacting to JK’s solo. He is the main vocalist and have a lot of parts on bts songs, his voice is very stable even when dancing hard choreography… he is not only the main vocalist, he is also the center of bts because he is really good.
He may be introverted but he is definitely cheeky, very cheeky. He imitates all the other members with skill. Let’s just say he has the most duality. He can seem shy but when he hits beast mode it’s something else. For a really good sense of his personality, watch the Seven mv or the most recent Calvin Klein ads. When we as a fandom knew he was coming for us all was The Lottie Family Concert. Watch any outtakes from that concert. And then just to make sure we didn’t see him as cute anymore he threw down My Time, 3D, Standing Next To You and any of the lives of Black Swan. I was there! It was raining ALL DAY LONG and most people started lining up in the morning. I got there at 11 a.m. JK started his set towards the late afternoon/evening. I was soaked through, starving, couldn't feel my legs, but right near the stairs! It was worth everything. His voice is even more beautiful live.

JK is very humble and respectful. However, when all 7 are together it is chaos. Jin and JK and their interactions are hilarious. He's the Golden maknae (youngest), where they other members really love him a lot for his cuteness, talent and let him more be himself do whatever he wants. Expecially in the early days, he's super introverted like ran away from the mic & tried really hard to stay behind the others XD JK said in interview he revealed he wants to live up to the titles given to him as the golden maknae and the main vocalist, so he doesn't stop singing anywhere anytime. He sang so much that the hyungs sometimes just wanted to rest & have bit of quiet time, and he's still singing & told him to give them a break XDDD In the behind the cam filmings, their BTS reality shows like Run BTS, In the Soop, Bon Vonyage etc, it's easy to hear his vocals at the back even thought the camera was not on him at all. On Vlive/Wevese lives, when he has live cam chat with ARMY alone, he sings A LOT! Literally like a full lengthy concert. He's very emotional & expressive when it comes to ARMY as well, that's why he tattooed ARMY on his hand. Good luck with your band. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hang in there. One of my favorite singers is Zhou Shen. He is now one of the biggest pop stars on China. Incredibly talented, sweet and humble guy. He had all kinds of things stacked against him. Grew up poor in a remote village in China but was blessed with an indescribable voice. His voice did not change as a teenager and he was bullied because he sounded like a combination of a young boy/female. He also is small. He stopped singing for a while until he went to the university in Ukraine. He struggled for well over six years slowing gaining fans until now he is one of the most popular singers in China and a loyal international fan base although it should be bigger. So keep on holding on to that dream of yours. Take a listen to him. His voice and stage presence is amazing. Start with his song Moonlight then do Dalabengba then You’re Ruthless and then Unravel. And that is just a tiny tiny taste of his versatility and talent. I could name over 100 songs/performances and would only scratch the surface of his work. By the way Zhou Shen always sings live with an open microphone. His live performances are often confused as a studio version. He is often called a walking CD and my favorite nickname is 0.3 dB because he can often get caught up in a 0.3 dB difference in tone trying to decide where to place a note. Amazing.
From what he’s said he was rather loud in his school in Busan but he withdrew into himself when he moved to Seoul as a young teenager with no support system. He lucked out and had six amazing hyungs to help him to adulthood. As he’s become an adult he’s become more at ease and confident. He doesn’t avoid speaking at award ceremonies now but he seems happiest when he’s with people he knows. He was thrilled to have Brian Puspos as a backup dancer and was obviously at ease with him. They all seem to breathe easier when they have the support of one of the other members when they are doing solo gigs.

It was pouring cats and dogs all day at the Global Citizens Festival. Jungkook was a bit nervous alone on stage because he says Euphoria is hard to sing, he also was singing Butter alone and at the end of his set they played 10 seconds of the first single of his solo album. I waited 2 hours to get into the park and then hours for his set.

I saw so many times that reactors look pass by Jungkook and Jin and I can understand this at some point. Since we have Tae as a baritone and a unique voice, and Jimin as a high tenor and another unique voice in BTS, Jungkook stays as middle for this clouser. And yeah, Jin shines throughout the Japanese songs and high notes as well as Jimin does. So, I saw so many times reactors whether look pass by Jungkook or don't give him credit as a singer (don't come at me, I'm an ARMY and OT7 altough Jungkook is my bias from the day one, I love them splendidly). One time, there was this reactor doesn't believe that Jungkook is the main vocalist in the group where he shouldn't be cuz he didn't hear his voice in a 7 members group as much as he should (sorry but it's a mediacore American belief that you should hear more main vocalist than the others in a group). So, I would like to recomment some live performances from Jungkook to react. Like, when he did i-Heart Radio Standing Next To You, or Audacy Live Performance (Standing Next To You, Seven, 3D, Closer To You) or some clips of him from Golden Concert (Hate You, Shot Glass of Tears, Somebody). I don't remember if you saw his My Time performance from ON:E concert, it could be a problem to react it on youtube since it usually gets block but there is two different days performance and one with dancebreak from both days. To me, i think you would like Somebody, Hate You and Shot Glass of tears more than Seven or 3D. I hope you continue to react BTS. I really love your reactions. And I hope you and your band have the success you guys deserve. I listen to your songs on spotify occasionally and I wish I had an opportunity to attend one of your concerst.
On you not getting enough jk on songs- he might not sing prominently in certain songs, but he is also contributes by singing the guides, giving backing vocals and choruses. he is kinda adds depth to most songs with his adlibs and layered vocal behind even rap sections. on the in-ear thing- could be. as far as i remember he did say that he didnt get to do a rehearsal or had to rush it (or something along those lines) cuz of the rains. He went on stage without the soundcheck so just could be that the levels that he wasnt used to/ comfortable with
JK had a bad cold when those presentations took place, the day before for the Good Morning America program it was literally freezing and it was raining there, he didn't feel well. He is an introvert who only feels comfortable with members, but he is a stage animal, no matter what happens he will give the best performance.

The thing is, u actually hear a LOT more of JK in BTS’ music than u realize, bc he is always harmonizing or doing background vocals. I don't know if it's bc of his perfect pitch & blending ability, or the fact that ppl become so used to it as “BTS’ sound”, but it gets overlooked much of the time.
Would highly recommend watching his performance of this at Wembley when he took off flying and singing live. This was a Good Morning America performance which was actually the rehearsal for the main thing, if I remember correctly. The weather got so bad they couldn't record for real so they used the recording of the rehearsal. If I'm remembering that right anyway, I'm sure Army will correct me if it wasn't this performance, he did quite a few last year to promote his solo album, Golden, which I would highly recommend checking out if you haven't already

I'm always here for your BTS live reactions. I've learned more about music from you than I've learned from anyone. I'd tune out during music discussions about lyrics and production in the past. This performance, if I'm remembering correctly, he was getting over a cold...JK's NY Times Square performance would prob be interesting to you: you go thru an entire mini-concert (jk's high energy/adrenaline when he opens is incredible, it seems like you would relate) that was given with literally 30 min notice, yet thousands came to see him and you see his charisma and confident (not cocky) presence.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Oh my gosh ur watching his live stage at Global Citizen Festival in NYC in the rain. 0.0 I was at that show. It was my very 1st festival. My pal had a ticket and she asked me to come. I was soaked through. My phone stopped working. i was in the middle of the crowd. i am short 5ft 2. I could not see the stage well so i watched ppl's phones. I am so glad they posted this on YT so i can watch and take all of it in. JK is an introvert. We did not know what songs he would do. Some thought we would not hear him sing this song. It's an old song that he loves a lot but he does not perform it often. I am not surprised if he was having in ear issues. It was raining hard. UwU We know what the song means. There are layers as to why we cried. Singing with army was amazing. Jk was 13/14yo when he became a trainee. He debuted at 15yo and was a shy baby. But they all faked it till they made it. Before enlistment he was rusty on lives but he is still more comfortable with us than u would think. I mean he let us watch him sleep for 6 hrs. We family. JK is an introvert. When he joined the company he was only 13 and he was crazy shy. He said he is keen in dancing and didnt expect to become the lead vocals. If you notice the group dynamics, JK doesnt challenge his older members. When there is a discussion he tend to keep quiet and then agree with them. This is very much a cultural thing in SK too with the younger person deferring to an older person. It is the other members' too that helped him break out of his shell and find himself.
His best live performance of 'Euphoria' was at Wembley Stadium in 2019, so you kinda missed out on his personal best there, but no matter, you can still watch it and see how he lights up when he is with ARMY.
I studied body language and micro expressions for a while, and I have always noticed Jungkook is more reserved. He was in the early years of their group, V mentioned it before. That's not something anyone really gets rid of but he doesn't show it much when performing. It's usually when he's off stage. During interviews you'll catch hints of his anxiety. He is a very humble person (as well as the other members) and that has never changed no matter how successful BTS has become.

I was there! It was raining ALL DAY LONG and most people started lining up in the morning. I got there at 11 a.m. JK started his set towards the late afternoon/evening. I was soaked through, starving, couldn't feel my legs, but right near the stairs! It was worth everything. His voice is even more beautiful live.

I, for one, didn't believe for a minute when you said you didn't hear JK enough despite him being a lead vocalist in BTS. 🙃 I wish you had the time to watch his live on stage of his album Golden. Only days before he enlisted. By himself, he is as real as the stars in the heavens. So laid back, no gimmicks, just the songs, JK and his ARMY. It's the most real I have ever seen him! He's the Golden maknae (youngest), where they other members really love him a lot for his cuteness, talent and let him more be himself do whatever he wants.

JK said in interview he revealed he wants to live up to the titles given to him as the golden maknae and the main vocalist, so he doesn't stop singing anywhere anytime. He sang so much that the hyungs sometimes just wanted to rest & have bit of quiet time, and he's still singing & told him to give them a break XDDD In the behind the cam filmings, their BTS reality shows like Run BTS, In the Soop, Bon Vonyage etc, it's easy to hear his vocals at the back even thought the camera was not on him at all.
On Vlive/Wevese lives, when he has live cam chat with ARMY alone, he sings A LOT! Literally like a full lengthy concert. He's very emotional & expressive when it comes to ARMY as well, that's why he tattooed ARMY on his hand.

Good luck with your band. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hang in there. One of my favorite singers is Zhou Shen. He is now one of the biggest pop stars on China. Incredibly talented, sweet and humble guy. He had all kinds of things stacked against him. Grew up poor in a remote village in China but was blessed with an indescribable voice. His voice did not change as a teenager and he was bullied because he sounded like a combination of a young boy/female. He also is small. He stopped singing for a while until he went to the university in Ukraine. He struggled for well over six years slowing gaining fans until now he is one of the most popular singers in China and a loyal international fan base although it should be bigger. So keep on holding on to that dream of yours. Take a listen to him. His voice and stage presence is amazing. Start with his song Moonlight then do Dalabengba then You’re Ruthless and then Unravel. And that is just a tiny tiny taste of his versatility and talent. I could name over 100 songs/performances and would only scratch the surface of his work. By the way Zhou Shen always sings live with an open microphone. His live performances are often confused as a studio version. He is often called a walking CD and my favorite nickname is 0.3 dB because he can often get caught up in a 0.3 dB difference in tone trying to decide where to place a note. Amazing.

From what he’s said he was rather loud in his school in Busan but he withdrew into himself when he moved to Seoul as a young teenager with no support system. He lucked out and had six amazing hyungs to help him to adulthood. As he’s become an adult he’s become more at ease and confident. He doesn’t avoid speaking at award ceremonies now but he seems happiest when he’s with people he knows. He was thrilled to have Brian Puspos as a backup dancer and was obviously at ease with him. They all seem to breathe easier when they have the support of one of the other members when they are doing solo gigs.

It was pouring cats and dogs all day at the Global Citizens Festival. Jungkook was a bit nervous alone on stage because he says Euphoria is hard to sing, he also was singing Butter alone and at the end of his set they played 10 seconds of the first single of his solo album. I waited 2 hours to get into the park and then hours for his set.
You guessed right. He is an introvert. A lovely, humble, extremely talented introvert who does love the stage. You should watch this live in concert with the choreo and flying.

I saw so many times that reactors look pass by Jungkook and Jin and I can understand this at some point. Since we have Tae as a baritone and a unique voice, and Jimin as a high tenor and another unique voice in BTS, Jungkook stays as middle for this clouser. And yeah, Jin shines throughout the Japanese songs and high notes as well as Jimin does. So, I saw so many times reactors whether look pass by Jungkook or don't give him credit as a singer (don't come at me, I'm an ARMY and OT7 altough Jungkook is my bias from the day one, I love them splendidly). One time, there was this reactor doesn't believe that Jungkook is the main vocalist in the group where he shouldn't be cuz he didn't hear his voice in a 7 members group as much as he should (sorry but it's a mediacore American belief that you should hear more main vocalist than the others in a group).
So, I would like to recomment some live performances from Jungkook to react. Like, when he did i-Heart Radio Standing Next To You, or Audacy Live Performance (Standing Next To You, Seven, 3D, Closer To You) or some clips of him from Golden Concert (Hate You, Shot Glass of Tears, Somebody).
I don't remember if you saw his My Time performance from ON:E concert, it could be a problem to react it on youtube since it usually gets block but there is two different days performance and one with dancebreak from both days.
To me, i think you would like Somebody, Hate You and Shot Glass of tears more than Seven or 3D.

On you not getting enough jk on songs- he might not sing prominently in certain songs, but he is also contributes by singing the guides, giving backing vocals and choruses. he is kinda adds depth to most songs with his adlibs and layered vocal behind even rap sections.
on the in-ear thing- could be. as far as i remember he did say that he didnt get to do a rehearsal or had to rush it (or something along those lines) cuz of the rains. He went on stage without the soundcheck so just could be that the levels that he wasnt used to/ comfortable with

The thing is, u actually hear a LOT more of JK in BTS’ music than u realize, bc he is always harmonizing or doing background vocals. I don't know if it's bc of his perfect pitch & blending ability, or the fact that ppl become so used to it as “BTS’ sound”, but it gets overlooked much of the time.
Would highly recommend watching his performance of this at Wembley when he took off flying and singing live. This was a Good Morning America performance which was actually the rehearsal for the main thing, if I remember correctly. The weather got so bad they couldn't record for real so they used the recording of the rehearsal. If I'm remembering that right anyway, I'm sure Army will correct me if it wasn't this performance, he did quite a few last year to promote his solo album, Golden, which I would highly recommend checking out if you haven't already

This performance, if I'm remembering correctly, he was getting over a cold...JK's NY Times Square performance would prob be interesting to you: you go thru an entire mini-concert (jk's high energy/adrenaline when he opens is incredible, it seems like you would relate) that was given with literally 30 min notice, yet thousands came to see him and you see his charisma and confident (not cocky) presence.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Oh my gosh ur watching his live stage at Global Citizen Festival in NYC in the rain. 0.0 I was at that show. It was my very 1st festival. My pal had a ticket and she asked me to come. I was soaked through. My phone stopped working. i was in the middle of the crowd. i am short 5ft 2. I could not see the stage well so i watched ppl's phones. I am so glad they posted this on YT so i can watch and take all of it in. JK is an introvert. We did not know what songs he would do. Some thought we would not hear him sing this song. It's an old song that he loves a lot but he does not perform it often. I am not surprised if he was having in ear issues. It was raining hard. UwU We know what the song means. There are layers as to why we cried. Singing with army was amazing. Jk was 13/14yo when he became a trainee. He debuted at 15yo and was a shy baby. But they all faked it till they made it. Before enlistment he was rusty on lives but he is still more comfortable with us than u would think. I mean he let us watch him sleep for 6 hrs. We family.
