What i like about the greatsword is it's special. It's windup animations makes it look like you're about slash so an enemy might try to counter it and boom, their leg is gone lol
You need to do an updated Officer video with the Greatsword. That health pool and warhorn is something else. With a good polearm on your team and some extra bandages its really insane.
The delay of the swing and subtlety of the windup is what makes basically windmilling the best option. You have such a large gap during initial release of the weapon that you can easily counter. Play rhythmically and aggressively. Also overhead delays while you are directly beside your enemy almost always lands similar to a stab drag and overhead feint to overhead is hilariously effective. If using Vanguard, open on an enemy with a leap attack and immediately hit it again to special while crouching.

One of my friends who likes the great sword said that my weapon choices can lead to some bad habits and I should try out the great sword and I've been trying it for a while and I've been getting so frustrated because I haven't been able to pick it down. But this tutorial gives me a lot to practice and so far I have done a lot better against him. And other players. Thank you so much!
We actually have pretty similar styles with the GS lol. I tend to use dodge a LOT though, helps to get behind enemies when they try to do a heavy overhead or something. Basically always trying to make my opponent work to stay facing me.

On that, I’ve been wondering that ppl who only watch your CZcams vids must have some thoughts that the champ can probably only pull off these crazy performances once in a while or occasionally. But man, as a follower to your twitch stream, I can only say the champ is a freaking real deal… this kind of performance is just your regular performance and you pull them off constantly lol

Seeing the greatsword, I don't even know why the executioner axe exists. It's just a shittier version of this weapon. And now the officer can use the GS too for some reason. I don't really get the balancing of this game sometimes.
Imma keep it real even if crouching is apart of pvp I still think it's lame and not because I can't do it, because it looks stupid and there's always something in an online game that pvp players do that look stupid asf.

@@sabshadowheart I like to use the mace because it stops on contact making it very fast on 1v1 and in most 1v1 the other player has a fast weapon.

GS is a great weapon for beginners. It definitely takes a long time to get for Knights though.
