I really appreciate when Brits come to visit my country and they prepare themselves with a lot of information as this guy did with Bologna.
I lived in the UK for almost two years and I must say I found the majority of the people there absolutely amazing, I had so many interesting talks with Brits and every time I have some spare time I always try to have a quick trip to Great Britain.

Couldn't beat the cold winter breaktimes at primary school swapping your doubles with your friends... good times. I only ever completed one to completion and that was the 1995 album if i remember correctly.
Same I completed 1994, there was a massive free swap shop at Milton Keynes bowl I went with my mum!

@@bubbacalling was 94 the blue or red cover? I cant remember which? I remember the 95 was the black cover... if my memory serves me correctly 😂. It was the black cover that i completed and i think 94 was the royal blue cover and the 96 was that cool deep red one... but its been many years so i may be mixing them up lol.

For people who are using subtitles: 4:31 "chalo chalo monka" is not right. When italian people open a pack, they look at the stickers and they say "celo" (contract form of "Ce l'ho", which means "I've got it", used only with stickers) if they have it, and "manca", if they don't have it

Merlin did the premier league up until 2019/20 where panini took over. The reason panini are more recognised though is they’ve been doing the World Cup and European championship stickers since at least the 60s and everyone around the world collects for euros and world cups whereas only premier league fans collect premier league. Merlin are great too though my favourite was the premier league 2002/03 book with the signature stickers.
The money my parents must have spent on these when i was a kid. And they reset each year... gotta give panini credit they have one hell of a racket here

About 11 years ago i paid £45 for a cristiano ronaldo “hundred club” match attax card for son off ebay that was from “father christmas” . I went to my local co op on christmas eve to buy milk and as i got to the till my son was there screaming the shop down as he packed cristiano ronaldo from a pack that cost 50p ..... “santa will prob get me the fernando torres hundred club card instead now” he said ...

As a kid I used to collect match attax for the Premier League season and used to be obsessed about Panini stickers during international tournaments.
Only finished the Euro 2008 sticker book though. The one no English player was in 😅
In Canada we had hockey cards. But see the amazing thing about Panini is it’s so much more economical. You get your album. And your parents can afford to get you a couple packets at the grocery.
I had a Ducktales album and it was amazing. Don’t know if it was Panini but in many ways I wish I’d been all about stickers as a child instead of cards. At least when it came to sports.
When she says we print the same ammount of cards, that's bullshit 😂 I collected them when I was a teenager and I ended up with about 50 Jimmy bullards and all my mates did also.

2:00 I can kinda see how the cutting and packing works - been collecting Panini for 35 years. For the World Cup & Euros I usually buy a box (as long as Switzerland has qualified) and I open them all then sort them into piles according to team. Then when I sort them in number order I always find that my pile goes something like 120, 122, 124, 126, 128, 130, 121, 123, 125, 127, 129, 131. Then the ones you are missing - you normally find they are in odds or evens as well. i.e: If you are missing 135 - chances are 137 and 139 won't be in your box either. Then if it gets down to being low to send off - you'll buy 20 packets and 19 of them will be all swops but 1 of those packets 3/6 you will probably need.

If there is equal amount of stickers of each player, then why in Euro 2004 collection there are way more doubles of Croatia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Czeck Republic and Germany than the rest of the teams combined?

They'll print the same raw amount of cards per player, it'll be how they're cut, separated and distributed that'll make some rarer than others.

I've not bought Panini for 30 years. So they seriously have had no Premier League albums since 1992? I can't believe that. I assumed they have always had sticker albums of the Premier League after Division 1. That must have been a massive blow to them.
