India will emerge as super power if defence budget will rise 10% every year, but India have lot of problem, religion, politics, reservation, free of scheme, pension to government employees like politicians, corruption, overpopulation, insufficient growth in technology and most important defence R and D budget is less.

India is doing good comparatively as we exported 686 crore($82.4 million) in 2013-14 and now in 2022-23 we exported 16000 crores($1.92 billion )
There is one major problem in defence planning.we always try to match enemy technology by upgradation which means we r always obsolete. Uk and US stays 1 to 3 steps ahead in technology than whatever enemy has, this reduces cost! Otherwise you hv to quantitatively increase this is the path we r taking now..this is obsolete

As per many defence experts high percentage share of Pension and salary on defence budget is a point of concern...can you cover this, like what, how and possible solution in near future. I think OPS must be replaced and a sustainable alternative should be used for pension system of Army...just like most developed countries do (just few days ago you covered potential USA Defence personnel fund investment in Indian Market)
Still we lack in all critical equipments like fighter jets, submarines,drones,Awacs,refuelers,anti mine ship and so on
Now India should invest more in Infrastructure after Increasing GDP India should invest in Defense.
With better buying power parity compared to the American defense budget,the expenditure is similar to what the American defense budget achieves. The Americans are better equipped simply due to historical accumulation of defense equipment
