1:04 such a brilliantly childish joke and Laura's giggling just topped it 😂
Love Laura, shes got such an infectious laugh
If Alasdair doesn't get his own show to host...
Ed absolutely killed it in this episode
Thanks again for uploading. I was worried for a moment when I saw the main video had been taken down. Also, I feel like Alistair, Athena, and Ed delivered more throughout the show, so I was completely with Ed's reaction at the end. One of the best episodes of the year so far, to my taste.
I agree with everything except for Athena, I think she was really poor
@@theinterimbeast8752 Fair point. She appears to have a more simplistic style, which does not come across as the same type of funny in contrast to the rest. I thought her comedy style was poor too first time I saw her participate on MTW, but now I find myself wondering if her style is too "light" to fit in with most of the other participants. Anyway, I do to some extent agree with your assessment of her performance.
@@TrondBrgeKrokli certainly not writing her off as there’s been multiple comedians who haven’t shined on their first time, I just wasn’t impressed with her input 😊
Ed Byrne with the Wiggles reference at the end to annihilate them all!
He's gone all Frankie Boyle lol
@@peterburke1709 Not quite. He has to be gone for ten years while people still whinge about his lack of presence on the programme.
Taking dad jokes to strange new places
@@RatelHBadger Where the sun don't shine. 😂
Ed completely dominated this round. First with that NHS cutbacks one, and then the Wiggles one!
I actually went numb from laughing so hard.
Right! 😂 I had to replay those a couple times
I think that's a subtle reference to a similar Jimmy Carr joke.
And I'll be silently singing 'one finger one thumb keep it moving' to myself forever now, but in the worst way. Love it.
1:18 was a cracking joke, always love Dara being put on the spot.
Thanks so much for reuploading in parts
Thanks you for uploading, I'm still laughing, Ed Byrne, LMFAO :-)
I so want to see this show live or on Zoom :-)
This was one of the best episodes in the history of the show
I really appreciate the effort you go to, mate.
Ovid is a god
One finger one thumb keep moving
We'll all be happy and bright.
AAARRGH!
Cheers for uploading
Scalpel.......foreceps.........carving knife.......turkey's done.
3, brilliant
I was manager of a store and we had a rule: for ugly babies, say they're precious. Because that's never wrong. However, anytime it was said, there would be a slight giggle traveling around the store. Ugly Baby Alert!
Mr Roberts, I understand that in the 50s you was the goalkeeper for the local side and famous for never letting in a single goal a season. Unfortunately, now you have double incontinence, you won't be keeping a clean sheet anymore.
And when the world needed him most, he vanished
What does Hugh say at 2:31?
"Should we be worried? Of course we should, this man is onejeweachbe60this[something]....3..."
Wut...?
180 over 60 so....3.
(180/60=3)
This man is 180 over 60 which means he's... 3.
Oh ....that was it...? Ok... :-/
@@henrikhyrup3995 Systolic and diastolic blood pressure numbers turned into a maths problem. Not one of his better ones, I'll admit.
@@scottstalcup6980 yeah I figured that out once it was on text. Dunno if it's just me but for as long as I've known about blood pressure measurement, I've thought of it as a fraction.
One finger one thumb keep moving
@Ovid, was there an episode 6? Your NZ subscribers are desperate for some funny tv 😎
question. do short redheads like tall jews who are ashamed to be from !MER!KA!
This show has gone downhill.
I'm old enough to remember when Mock the Week was funny, and guests were invited because they were funny...
Oddly enough that’s still the case, though not all of them can be to your taste.
@@etiam5267 Nah. The show committed wokeicide, along with the rest of the BBC.
This guy again.
Just shut up and let the people who enjoy this enjoy it alright
@@doctorwhat3683 Ah, I see that you're young enough to think that anyone with the temerity to hold an opinion that differs from your own should shut up or be shut up.
Your parents must be very proud.
