I have an Moza R16 on the way and was thinking about buying the CS V2 wheel for $229 But I wonder if I should just get this and use my ES R5 Wheel...They both are 13 inches.
I would just use the ES. The china wheel is holding up just fine and I've been using it this whole time.

@@alkine3011 For sure! I actually got a 2nd ES wheel so I could still have the small rim for arcade games like Daytona USA and Outrun 2, without having to go through the trouble of unscrewing the rim.

I don't understand why they overlap that so-called cowhide on the 3 points on the steering wheel and don't make it out of the whole, they just make it ugly

There are petal extensions included. Why didn't you use them?
1. I don't need them, my fingers are plenty long enough
2. They are flimsy cheap plastic and are held on by double sided tape. Not the heavy metal screw-on kind, like Moza provides with their wheel mod.
Are they holding up at all? Do they not fall off when used? Assuming that my fingers are very short and I can't reach the shifters without them. @@Billkwando
@@orangechannel4862 Again, I've never used them. If you're sure you'll need them, you may want to get the official Moza wheel mod. It's 1 inch smaller, but the paddles are solid.
@@Billkwando It doesn't make any sense. 30 centimeters is very small for a steering wheel, there is no difference with the regular 28. 33 is at least a little like a sports steering wheel, on the borderline acceptable.
Must be something insanely wrong with your scale if that's measuring grams. Not the best idea to measure on a soft / carpeted surface either. But for reference, the 12-inch official ES mod, according to Moza's specifications, come in at 850g.
I understand that it was mostly to display the differences between them, but going from 18 to 11 "gram" doesn't really give me any good reference. Could of course roughly calculate it by saying 11 is ~61% of 18, and 61% of 850 is 519, but still a very vague, as the results vary a fair bit depending on whether it's 19 or 18 the scale shows, or 12 or 11.
Anyway, fantastic review in all other ways, it was very helpful in deciding on which to go for. Thanks.
As far as the weight, that's not my specialty. I figured something is better than nothing, so I made the effort. 😁 Also, Moza may have been including the metal paddle extensions in the weight, but I can only guess about that.
