On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song “Baikal” took place on Diana Ankudinova’s CZcams channel.
The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film “The Spirit of Baikal,” which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023.
In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals.

At this point in her life Diana already had at least 9 years of singing experience on her back.
It is not like she is more mature in her performance here, because in your previous reaction she was older at 15 yo so it is more like that Diana embodies the song she performs, if the song is upbeat Diana dances if the song is solemn and sad Diana stands still and she cries, if she needs to show fear she does, if she needs to show nervousness she does if she needs to show action she does, she is a complete performer.
You should seriously see her new video clip it is one of her best works ever, crazy production and she shows to everyone once again that her class is way above her peers.

Even in the two years since "Can't Help Falling in Love," the most recent video that you have reacted to, Diana has continued to develop technically and artistically at an amazing rate.
She has started to compose her own songs and write her own lyrics, e.g. "Revelation" (mood video) and "I went into myself" being excellent examples.
Most recently, she has ventured into the film industry. Her music video "Baikal" of the original sound track of the award-winning film "Spirit of Baikal" is quite extraordinary!

This is an old ritual song about an orphan bride. The girl has no parents. The river was considered the boundary between the world of the living and the dead. She goes to the river and asks for the blessing of marriage. She says that there are many people at home, but there is no father and mother. You hear Diana singing in a whisper. These are the words of the deceased mother of the bride. Then the girl is crying. In Russia, at weddings they sang sad songs to scare away evil and the marriage of a young couple was to be happy. Such songs were called “weeping.” The figures behind Diana are spirits of water and forest.
One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" czcams.com/video/cfTiQkJrLi0/video.html. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song.
I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.
You might like her 'crow' performance, it also seems to be in her spiritual comfort zone that you recognize
