2:55 there's something about this that a lot of people glance over without thinking about more deeply, and it tends to lead to the opposite conclusion when you talk about her actions.
At Sylvanas's 2nd death (killing herself after Arthas dies) she ends up in the maw already. There she makes the deal with the Val'kyr (and Jailer I think? Idk if it was an actual retcon) to escape it. Garrosh PROBABLY did far worse stuff than she had prior to that point on WotLK when he died on WoD, and he ended up in Revendreth. Once she's aware that she's headed for the maw, what do any of the decisions she makes in her life matter at that point? She's already headed to the worst afterlife possible, so any measure isn't too far anymore, she literally can't be bothered to "control" her actions towards an afterlife, she's already lost. So as her Val'kyr dwindle, the measures she takes to stay out of the maw have to escalate in response, and this is how we got to where we are now.
I mean, Sylvanas isn't wrong. She is just an NPC. She has no choice. She has no free will. Their world is definitely unjust...

Sylvanas is 100% having a redemption moment. I don't think she intended to ever kill Anduin, just force him to comply to push her own agenda (instead of the jailer's). She has always been a sneaky person, and very good at betraying at the correct time
Exactly. She wants him to ally himself with her rather than be forced to serve the jailer.
"behave yourself and you get a nice afterlife" see thats precisely her point. up to artha´s death she didnt really do anything to deserver landing in the maw, wich she did however once she fell from icecrown. how she doesnt have the slightest suspicion that it was probably the jailer who put her there idk but as it stands she does make a fiew fair points.

Sylvanas's argument is self defeating. If we have no free will, then what she is doing is meaningless because it is not done out of free will.
You will Die regardless we have never had that choice, What she wants to break is the system in the Shadowlands where you cant choose your after life, Instead of being in the mercy of Eternal ones where you are made to serve them never really having a choice not even in Death. They farm us for Anima.
@@codeone8195 To want or desire something is an act of free will, if she has no free will, then she is a slave and nothing she does is actually out of a want, but out of being compelled by whatever force controls her, so if what she says is true, she doesn't even want free will itself, she.just thinks she does because whatever controls her makes her think she does.

@@ryanwinsor1689 I'm afraid I disagree because she's hesitant to remove the choice from Anduin, who is not on the verge of death or dead, so if she only means the free will of death (whatever you mean by that), then there would be no hesitation.
teldrassil and the other world trees might be the prison she speaks about.... They BIND life... To azeroth? Why dont we die when we die? It may be because of that. Noone knows

Sylvanas attacked Darkshore, destroyed Teldrassil and sparked war in order to feed souls to the Jailer and increase their power. It's the only way to get to the Shadowlands and fix the machine of death which is an unjust system.
In her past, Sylvanas was forced to become the banshee queen against her will. She finally achieved justice against Arthas, but when she killed herself and went to the Shadowlands she ended up in the Maw. Why? That's not fair. It wasn't her fault she was raised by Arthas. The system is truly messed up.
She now believes all life to be pointless until the afterlife is fixed (that 'momentary flicker' means nothing if it's followed by an eternity of suffering). However in her mission to achieve this she is now faced with having to force Anduin against his will. What she is about to do to Anduin is exactly the same as what Arthas did to her all those years ago. And that trauma runs deep.
Talking about ending the cycle of life and death, but yeah, -that’s- stupid
Sylvanas is my queen and i support her always and you seem like one of those annoying Alliance players !!! you king is about to die or work for the right side which is Sylvanas side :) and another thing Saurfang was a traitor as is the horde he turned against Sylvanas will all die for it along with any alliance members who joined forces

Dude, if you are reacting to something atleast pay attention =/, talking over the voice acting and gettin' distracted every 10 seconds is not the right way to do it. It is noticeable that you don't like Sylvanas, but you are ignoring Anduin dialogs too
