WOW, Feyd is the most interesting character in this story other than Paul Atreides. It's all about those two for me and how Denis dealt with that story is striking and dramatic. We all know the entire movie was epic in every way but Feyd and Paul were truly amazing. Congratulations Denis !!!
Not in the book. Fayed is a throw away bad guy. Fleshed out and eleveated only to make Paul's victory more impressive. Villeneuve threw a lot of things away to make room for his Harkonen fetish.
Helena was sent to test Paul because his bloodline was about to be destroyed but Margot was sent to not only test Feyd but to make sure his bloodline would continue with her child.

Salut ! Je monte sur Sony Vegas ! J'ai fait un an de fac d'Arts du spectacle, mais je n'ai pas été très assidu on va dire ^^ J'ai appris à utiliser Vegas par moi-même :)

While I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, the director decided to make Feyd a one dimensional brute with little intelligence. In the source material Feyd was highly intelligent, cunning, and ambitious. It’s unfortunate that Villenueve decided to take the route that he did with Feyd Rautha Harkonnen.
