My husband and I are in agreement that we won’t do Valentines… we do challenge each other to see who find the best clearance candy the next day…HOWEVER 😅 my oldest son is now 12 so my husband has made it a POINT to show him how to spoil me and care for me… so he can treat his future gf … so I cannot be mad at him… he’s being a dad. I think everyday gestures are way more important than one day ❤

I'm a single mom with 2 girls and I celebrated Valentines for them. I diy a gift basket of goodies for each and took them out to dinner and the movies ❤

I think regardless of the financial situation, a card with heartfelt words would be appreciated. If he wanted to he would! My husband has always got me flowers since we dated and financially situation hasnt always been the same, yet he has always thought of me ❤

I love flowers, I love balloons but he doesn’t have to go all out. It’s the thought and how he gives them to me that counts the most not how much he spent.
My husband only has one brother and i have 5 sisters we didnt do the bridesmaids or groomsmen i just had my sisters father in law and brother in law walk down the aisle before me (both of my parents walked me down the aisle) so they get included in a way but didnt involve any friends just to avoid anyone feeling left out or something so i totally recommend going that route!

My husband is súper Detallista , but this year I told him I don’t want flowers or chocolates I want a mini getaway . And he made it happen a suite with a jacuzzi like 3hr away with a beautiful view .
Also for the wedding court there is no number of groomsmen or bridesmaids you can have ,you can even have odd number is one of you has more then the other .
It’s mostly for bachelorette party and speeches.

How do you guys feel about gifting your significant other a gift , and then they give it away a year later, 2 year 3 year down the line ? To a family member
We had our religious wedding in Mexico last October and we had no court, no padrinos (except Los padrinos de velacion que son a fuerza). We had our kids be the part of the ceremony by providing us the arras, lazo, anillos and it was beautiful!

I think once you’re married or been dating for many years it’s not necessary to ask but it’s nice to at least receive like a card and a rose or something just to ask that way you don’t ever lose those cute gestures and moments in your relationship!
I have been married for 5 years. We decided to not really celebrate Valentine’s anymore. Reasons being I do flowers/ramos that whole week is stressing and super busy. But we will give eachother a letter, flowers a small surprise, cute gesture. We rather celebrate our love any other time of the year. I think it’s more unique that way too. ❤
Honestly my first cried a lot more than my second . My first was calm but cried ALOT !! My second didn’t cry a lot But was a ball of energy he was everywhere and on anything she was a whole different experience but I love both experiences ❤

Asking to be a valentine is definitely a trend! But it's the thought that counts. I didn't expect nothing due to our financial situation but he brought me a balloon, gift, and flowers❤❤ Also if he wanted to he would❤❤❤ I left him balloons and a flower in the truck and when he came home I made a heart taco and we ate as a family🎉🎉
There is no need to ask if we're married, but my husband always brings me flowers, a sweet treat, and/or a little gift. He also brings treats for our 2 kids now. Sometimes I cook a family dinner or he picks something up. ♥️ when we were dating, we always went out to dinner, but nowadays, all the restaurants are packed, and with 2 toddlers, it's not the vibe😂
Also, this year, it was ash Wednesday it was a day of abstinence, lol 😆

I have a lot of close people in my life and 3 sis in laws (im very blessed). It would be like 9 bridesmaids lol .I’m getting married in 2 months. I’m not having a bridal party. It would have been too difficult to choose. Just my fiancée and me. Bedsides people don’t hang up photos of your bridal party ~ mostly of bride and groom. It’s all of them or no one. Still including girlfriends and family included in plans.

I personally, feel like it keeps the whole “keep dating” even if you’re married. I absolutely think that a husband should ask because it keeps the relationship romance, spark and makes it fun. Thats my personal opinion. I don’t think it has to be big and overboard, but I do think it’s a nice thought! My husband bought me a card and a single rose. The thought and effort was the most important part for me. By the way we have been together for 10 years. ❤
