Ronald McDonald performed in thousands of schools with important messages including Safety, Reading, Leadership, Ecology and being a Friend, (Not a Bully). All of these shows were free to the schools, Paid for by the Local McDonald's Franchise Owners and Operators. It was a terrific gift to the local communities.
Narrator: Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Doctor Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM LEAP. They're doing this more out of promotion and brand awareness/synergy than altruism. They know this stuff helps promote McDonalds.
