- With a short window to get a lot of work done, compounded by the current supply chain crisis... will we be able to get Loftus Road Stadium ready for @QPR's 1st home game vs Middlesborough THIS Saturday?

Top class as always Daniel! The video is close to my heart in so many ways but you nailed it. Most only see the glamour and the wages at the top clubs but don't get the realism of running the clubs below the Premiership. Lovely insight 👊
Wasn't expecting to see you here ash.
@@AndrewStrydomBRP Daniel is a man after my own heart. Fairness, Honesty and Hard Working! Love his vlogs 👍
@@AndrewStrydomBRP and with a connection to football helps!
Ashley I have been driving the past 25 years...any chance you could teach me to stay in my own lane? 🤣
Would love to see a collaboration between you both. Drivers safety or something !
I understand fully the trials which you face Daniel and appreciate the transparency with which you talk. However I’m sick to death of all these suppliers telling you one thing and then not admitting they can’t fulfil what they promise until in some cases 24 hours before they are due to start! To me this is ridiculous. They should own up from the start and say I’m sorry it’s not possible, at least then the work can be postponed and doesn’t leave your company in the lurch! As ever massive respect to team Ashville
Yes, like why did the company supplying the vanity unit take payment to only be told much much later its out of stock? Just let them know asap so alternatives can be sourced
@@samfuel The vanity unit situation sounds like it was avaliable, they took the order and payment, but someone or something messed up. Something doesn't become 'out of stock' after its been paid for unless there's a screw up on the supplier's end.
The suppliers want your cash (they won't ever turn away work) - that helps their cashflow etc, and as to the actual delivery - well their attitude seems to be "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Same in the IT industry which is also facing huge shortages. Not right, but capitalism and human greed make it what it is. :(
They probably took the money assuming they could fill the order with ease but fell foul of the same supply chain issues and staff shortages that every company is throughout the industry due to the shitshow that is brexit.
They took the money assuming they could supply the toilets etc on time in the same good faith that qpr took money for the safe standing tickets in good faith that they'd be ready in time.
Don't blame the suppliers or the contractors....they're all facing the same issues as QPR
Brutal delays for you and team Daniel. Brave to put it out there as well. Fingers crossed you can get the materials soon.
These supply issues are serious! Well done Ashville for the effort and transparency…all the more reason to expand your business by acquiring the suppliers company, retaining the expertise and sourcing locally😉
the one claiming you`ve won a prize is a fake / spam message be warey of it, I ve had same message and I ve rang to double check
@@djray1031 Thanks very much. I have just reported said one.
@@SherG2774 Not a problem mate, I rang Ashville and asked about it as well. take care
That what the company I work for has done across Europe, we buy the manufacture and incorporate it into our internal supply chain
@@rarp8681 Awesome, this is called Vertical Integration👌
I can tell this guy is a class act and a professional.
Big respect for the transparency and openness of this video.
Great explanation in everyday terms, honest and open, no bull, credit to you and QPR
Fantastic video. Nice to see these sort of issues explained clearly so that fans understand what's going on with the club.
I have to say we'll done and thank you for the briefing.
Truly sad about supply issues but thing at the R's always seem to hiccup before prowess ensues. Part of loving the club for me is that financial tightrope we walk and the willingness around to get the job done and the pulling together and thinking outside the box
It will be awesome complete without doubt I remember us winning a trophy one season for best bogs couldn't win a plastic cup on pitch that year 😀
Well done and good luck with all you do CoYR's
Thanks mate! I really needed this video my business is going through hell at the moment but it’s reassuring to see a calm a collective manner to address and handle problems.
Hope u voted for brexit
Thank you Daniel for the shout out to the LFC 97 keep up with great videos you make I be watching your Sunday's episode
Feel your pain Daniel I work in manufacturing and the supply chain situation is mental not to mention the increased cost of materials add to that shipping costs. It’s a stressful period at the moment.
Damn, good luck Daniel. At the very least the stadium has you as the competent contractor , second to none , at the helm of navigation through this difficult times. Cant wait to see it all come together as always.
Great Honest Video, Credit to you . Any person working in Procurement over the last 3 Years have well and truly earned their money I can tell you .
Love the total honesty, Daniel. Top bloke. Top company. 👍
Always very honest and truthful Daniel that's what make you very popular no B,S...
An excellent, informative video. Exceedingly professional in a difficult (and worsening) set of circumstances. Best of luck to you all.
Well it's a Thursday and I am locked in and love the work they do, but I am still waiting for the competition between You and O'Donnovan team.
A really good video. Your are really good at getting your message across. You must be a great boss to work for. Thank you .
Fantastic as always Daniel and the team
Good work Daniel 👏🏽
Brilliantly put across Daniel
Always good to be transparent. I work for a large multinational ventilation supply company. We are lucky as we manufacture a lot of our own goods but We have found that fan suppliers are struggling to get the motors which is causing delays on site.
Had exactly the same issue recently with my business.. Been waiting over 3 months for certain materials !
We are all experiencing the same issues with supply chains it is in every industry at the moment.
The company I work for manufactures hydraulic valves and manifolds the current lead time for our products is about 3-5 months that is with us working 24/7 but the problem is this has a knock on effect because we are having problems so do our customers and there customers. Because we are all in the same situation we are working closely with our customers to manufacture products the can actually uses.
The last thing we want to be working on is products that are just going to sit in a warehouse for months on end when we have some customers with equipment sitting in carparks waiting for one of our products. we had this situation a few weeks ago where there is 40 scissor lift siting in the car park waiting for one of our manifolds that we could not supple because we need to make a specific valve that we was making for another customer that was just storing in there warehouse. The problem was we was prioritising based on first come first serve and not on need but this is how every business operates and it has been working well because there was no massive distribution to global supply chains that cause loads of company's to cancel orders and then have to re place these order only to be told they are now back of the queue.
Thanks for giving the best team a shout out (LFC)
Great video! Very honest and interesting
Daniel, as a groundsman the start of the season is always a nightmare (well for me). Everything seems to take longer and the fixes not last as long as you hope. Hopefully everything thing gets delivered before your too far into the season!
top class video Daniel
Professional Update 💪🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
always love QPR fair play Daniel i dnt knw where u find time for all the work u do
Well done Daniel, open and honest.
Great video. What a task.
Supply issues all over the world at present. I was in Berlin on a buying trip and all the companies that I visited had nothing & came back empty-handed.
It's the same here in Ireland trying to get stuff like insulation tiles rebar and other stuff even spare parts for our concrete pump like yours take an age to get and the Price's have gone crazy sometimes more then double what they where.
Brutal man, its the same all over. At least you’re upfront and honest. Must suck that it isn’t you’re fault at all.
really the best channel on the tube . Subtle but entertaining click bait no noncess . Always inproving and investing in the channel making new connections and thinking out the box .
No nonces 🤣
@@craig3719 🤣 auto correct i was at work .
I`m not a QPR fan but have been to Loftus Road a couple. Interesting video
Top notch content. The ashville way
I love Ashville!
First home game I saw (standing at the Loftus Road end) was back in 1982 😎
Your lucky my club had to wait 6 weeks for the 3G pitch to be finished, and that was the 1st 6 weeks of the season in Northern Ireland last year.
I wonder what Song they will sing 🎤 on Saturday aimed at Ashville 😆😆😆. Any grief you will have Terry & Will to deal with it 😜😜👍👍
JTF97 - well done for that Daniel!
Yesss!!!
Awesome video. Maybe could have been improved by additional details and contractual or business implications. Eg. Who pays for the portaloo? Qpr or contractor or supplier?
Watching all the way from South Africa, hopefully one day you can build my dream house
hi love the vid
Going there tomorrow 👍
Daniel has the same problem as me when sitting in those little stadium seats… the seat in front shattering your knees for the whole time 🤣 I’m 6’5, Daniel must be taller than that though!
He's 6'5" too. I've been watching him for over a year, he's said it many times.
Daniel be proud of where you are in business at the moment, people may say that you micro manage to much, but that’s how we all move forward and grow our business. I totally agree with a lot of your subscribers in saying that you and your video team turn out proper content that would be the envy of many videographers, I no a lot of people have also asked about if it’s possible to have a little run down of your office staff and drivers and where they are in the Ashfield hierarchy ??. Unlike that fantastic man Mr O’donoven your more than welcome to come over to SE London and be most welcome, and deliver what you will 😂😂 as good as your company is Daniel it would be prudent of you to grab hold of both Mr O Donaven hands and ask him to evaluate your site and offer his overwhelming experience ?????
Joys of the building trade.
So glad your apart of QPR 🔵⚪️
Even the Bus Stop in Hounslow have seats !!!!
Are you talking about the new stadium next to Old Oak Common where a new HS2 station is under construction.
People who don’t have a clue will stamp there feet and feel they have a right to blame everyone else but unfortunately this is the world we live in now. As a fellow construction worker I understand your frustration and issues but you are doing a great job and love your videos
Real shame, not you fault, well done for trying to sort it
Car crash TV with good customer service - well done Daniel. Keeping your stakeholders informed.👍👍👍👍
supply chain and port issues was a problem even a year ago, but it just seems to be getting worse.
Keep pushing bro. Want QPR back in the Premier League. The more London clubs the better imo
I work in the plumbing supplies sector and we’ve still got stuff on route to us from Christmas, absolute joke it is.
Don't look like it. Busy the building trade. Big up ashville 👆🏾
Team green in Slough can help If you need to hire a toilet block for the game

How long is a piece of string. Twice half its length
Niiice! 😁
Why were the seating rails not just ordered to be manufactured by a metal company? This is where I work at in the Netherlands. Feel free to reach out to me for projects like this. We can run estimates and have most projects delivered within 1-2 weeks. Only specialty materials will take longer, but we always have typical 304-rvs on hand.
Daniel "it's not my fault" Louisy!
Especially when u have 100s of seats unavailable for a game that’s serious revenue 5% of machday revenue.. This should be a wake up call for U.K. MANUFACTURING, start to make these as every stadium in U.K. will be fitting these soon and as we know that market is massive so guaranteed revenue.
ooo we got a remainer
Very good video Daniel, but it should be Lee Hoos explaining this. Ashville has my support, as does QPR.
what a video.
My Teamm Birmingham could do with you guys they've been fixing the stands since this time last year
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!
❤️
2500 boro fans coming chris wilders red white army!!!
What score was the Blackburn game
Hi.
Someone is saying that you did not suggest a bigger Garage for Yianni's house.
Daniel for prime minister what a legend
I've cancelled plans to renovate my house and buy a new car, mainly due to supply chain issues causing delays and massive cost increases; I will make do with what I've got indefinitely until the global economy stabilises.
On a lot of the projects I run I don't let the contractors start till all the critical materials are on site. I don't mind paying upfront but I wanna know once we start we can finish.

I Am working at a Wood flor Company ind Denmark if you put ind a ordre now you Can get ind 1 -2 year’s
Am the first Ghanaian 🇬🇭 to be here
An extra Ashville. Bonus!! There's trouble everywhere world wide on stocking issues it's terrible. Hope you get sorted soon
Be good to see QPR in the premier League joining Chelsea Fulham and Brentford from West London!
Reckon those suppliers must be Fulham or Chelsea fans.
I'm in a totally different circumstance but I would love to make a classy youtube video and send it to a customer explaining that we couldn't finish their project in the expected time because our catalytic converters were stolen hahaha
I know Ashville don't have a say in this but how come QPR season ticket holders where allowed the seats as when Brentford FC mooved stadium fans weren't allowed to have the seats due to health and safety as the plastic in them was toxic?
🤘😎🤘
That would be a delay due to customs issues because of.....Brex.....Nice transparency though good work.
Absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. It's a world wide supply chain issue!
4:56 Ali barber? 😂
It's Thursday, and I'm not in the yard..................
💖🙏
IS THERE ANY FINANCIAL PENALTIES FOR ASHVILLE FOR THE DELAYS ?? After all 5% of match day revenue is a loss
Youd assume (and hope) that there’s a significant penalty for it
That's not a good look for are team Daniel. And with overseas shipping at the moment being a absolute joke . But one thing are grate club know you got this 👊💙
Thankyou for this and we'll explained, but the football club and ashville has had long enough to sort out these issues...who is qpr employing to do the work Bob the builder, can't believe a company would cancel the day before to do work I'm disappointed because the opening of the new named stand tbh, and why remove seats if new ones not arrived?
This video had a different feel to it.
