While I was in central London I decided to go and have a wee walkabout Whitehall and cover some locations I have done previously.
First was Portcullis House offices block to many MP's and it was here we get our first cameo appearance from 1 VIP.
I then head round to HMRC where as you can tell by the title it was a barrel of Laughs before I finish the video with a couple more cameo VIP appearances.

The smiling security man was more than reasonable but the only man remotely obstructing the door was the other security guard standing in the actual doorway causing people to squeeze past him

What is up with people as soon as we walk out of our homes we are being filmed and we do not always know what is being done with our images
There was so much there that I don't know where to start. How aggressive were those civil servants!!! They forget who they work for!! How nasty and rude, but then we all know that because we have to deal with them! Great video!

Edit: People with public facing roles, especially in London, where they have travelled to work and been captured on hundreds of cameras, insisting that they don't want to be filmed, always give me the giggles 😂
I'm amazed that so many staff are actually working in that building. Half the civil service is still working from home!

Having been on a couple of photo shoots with Stuart many years ago I can attest that he's a very nice chap and a very fine photographer.

I watch videos people make about walking around in the big Chinese cities and it really stands out how few police and security are to be seen anywhere at all. London is absolutely packed with police and security.
What would the unemployment figures be should we get rid of most of the totally unnecessary security in the UK?

I grew up and worked in London till i moved to Essex. Only been bsck about 6 times in 50 odd years couldn't live thete now far far too busy. Love watching your videos. Stay safe xx

I always wonder how well these new foreign workers are vetted in the UK. I have watched countless videos with migrants who have security work. And i know myself that to get work in certain areas of security, especially government. That you have to be spotless to work there. But there is definitely no way tge uk can check up on people from Africa, middle east and many European countries. We also ono that no matter how good the check on UK citizens. We have even seen police officers pass these search histories anr end up being a paedophile and a killer.
Tax collectors asking tax payers to stop filming them because they don't like being filmed, I'm sure most tax payers feel the same way about having taxes collected. Maybe you could negotiate a deal.
Why is security checking people leaving with his back to the public. Any “attack” he has is back to them.
