      Mark Thomson thanks my friend...! Yeah, I believe you’re right. I hear rumours it will be out in 2020 some time.. 🤞🏼

    How to share dive with the data and photo like other activities?

    Yeah you just need to set the App settings to Metric 😉

    Thanks for the great video and review. I have been researching the Garmin Decent as I am in need of a new dive computer. I like the idea of having a multi-use dive computer/fitness tracker/watch...vs spending $1k for a dive computer that doesn't have any use but dive but with that I am still quite nervous about having something that is not dedicated to just diving and the safety aspect of it since that computer is essentially your lifeline. Time and research will tell. I do have one question...does the computer have a Surface Interval countdown and a No Fly countdown? Thanks again for all of the great reviews!

      Thanks BG - really appreciate the positive feedback! I fully get where you are coming from in saying that you would want a DC dedicated just for diving, I too was the same. But the build quality on the multi function devices is incredible now - I'm holding out for the Descent Mk 2 which was due to launch around now, but suspect it's delayed until the pandemic has passed and we all get a bit more back to normal...
      And yes - the Descent Mk1 does hace a SI and No-Fly timer... :)

    Hi, thanks for the video, excellent info. Just one question regarding Single gas dive: can I modify the info in each screen like you do in other excercises like walk or run?

      barronhead thanks for the feedback. 👍🏻 Yes, the descent is fully customisable. Make sure it’s in your wrist during the dive to count calories etc, and wear it as much as you can.

    This is my first experience with a dive Garmin computer, I used to have a scubapro meridian dive comp, a worked ok until I had an issue with battery, now I bought descent comp. Hope it was the greatest idea I have because I pay too much. So, do you think it's much better this comp than the previous I had? BR

      barronhead it’s completely the right decision! The Descent is a fantastic piece of kit, and the more you use it and get more familiar with what it does, the easier it WILL get!

    Oh . That's terrible. When you move your arm the heart rate reaches to 130 bpm;

      Yes, that’s the one floor with it - it does pick up general movement very easily.
      Either that or I’m remarkably unfit and just waving my arm around send my heart rate racing!? 🤣

      Maybe. But İ mean thats a wrong made by optical heart rate sensor. Because optical heart dependents on accelometer and linked to it. sorry İ am unable to saying my thought clearly in english
