  • If you love the smokiness of peat whisky then this smoky gin cocktail will blow you away. With a hint of citrusy lemon and the sweetness of Tupelo honey swirled into this Lapsang Souchong scented gin it takes cocktail hour to the next level. And if we are talking cocktail pairing then a bite of sharp, nutty English Mature Cheddar with British Branston Pickle will make this the most talked about cocktail hour among your friends and family ever! So Quintessentially British... Cheers!

Very cool. I've always done equal parts gin and chilled Earl Grey with sugar and lemon. Definitely going to try this steeping method. 👍

Not sure where to leave this, but great videos, really love what you're doing! It would be great if you could make a video talking about some of the quintessential british dishes that you make.

Love Lapsang Souchong! Sadly, noone I know likes it. I'm told it smells like ham, but I'm not sure why that's a bad thing! Smokiness= Yumminess.

I don't drink this tea in heat of the summer, but it's fantastic on a cold winter day.

I understand the royal family enjoy whiskey or scotch. Being from Scotland and a bartender, would love to see a royal whisky drink

This sounds exquisite! And here in Minnesota, we have the US best tea supplier of all, TeaSource. I coincidentally just had delivered their Lapsang Souchong, so am ready to try this. Your three cocktail recipes are really enticing!

Interesting recipe, which I will definitely check out in the new year. Completely off topic, have you got a cottage pie recipe you'd be willing to share? I'm craving comfort food. Happy Holidays!

This cocktail sounds similar to a hot toddy.

Doesn't it use some kind of mixer like tonic water or similar? It would be awfully strong just drinking it by itself.

How much gin did you steep the tea bag in?

During the video, I was wondering what the stuff was on the red plate. You said English branston pickle and I still have no idea what that is. What was pickled? Is it sweet or sour?

Gin is 🤢. I made the mistake of drinking it without chasers.

You don’t chase gin anyways, you make a cocktail.
