Geocaching at Bitcoin Beach in El Salvador

- This week I visit El Salvador with the intention of hiding a geocache, since there are only a handful in the entire country. I hid this geocache in the cliffs, and another (earthcache) at the caves shown in the video. Check them out using the links below:

It's funny: Haven't been geocaching in ages and kinda forgot it was a thing until this fall when I accidentally found a cache while mushroom hunting.

I hid two geocaches just in case, one in the video, the other is an earthcache, so no physical container.

I'm always here, too, and it sounds like a good reason to escape the snow in Colorado, too. Also, isn't puffer fish pousionous if not cooked correctly?
That's right and it can be deadly. In Japan I did try pufferfish, they call it Fugu. In restaurants there, it can only be prepared by a specially trained chef.

Why would they ban gold panning? I get why a country would want to ban large scale mining operations, but gold panning? I don’t get that one. Unless, the government of that country is the main exporter of the counties gold. Then it would make sense,

What is a bitcoin beach!!!
"Bitcoin Beach" is the nickname given to El Zonte, a small beach town in coastal El Salvador. The reason it's called Bitcoin Beach is due to the circular economy where everyone uses Bitcoin as a payment system. Everyone accepts Bitcoin, everyone gets Bitcoin as a paycheck. In 2021, El Salvador became the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender. Since then El salvador went from being one of the poorest and most dangerous countries in the world to the second safest in the western hemisphere, along with a booming economy. They still have a long way to go, but the progress happening down there is remarkable. There is construction everywhere with even tourism there now surpassing many other countries in latin america.
